Itinerary
Days 1 & 2 - Depart for Glasgow, Scotland
Arrive in Glasgow, the European Capital of Sport.
Days 3 - 5 - Loch Lomond, Fort Williams & Isle of Skye
Cruise on Loch Lomond, “Queen of the Scottish Lochs,” then wind your way through rugged hills, shining lochs and moorlands to the fishing port of Mallaig.
After a ferry ride to the Isle of Skye, enjoy a VIP tour of the renowned Talisker Distillery. If you’ve never had a whiskey tasting, or if you are an afficionado of single malts, this is the place to savor Scotland’s pride. Back on the mainland, take an exhilarating ride on the Nevis Gondola up the Aonoch Mor Mountain for spectacular views. We’ll spend three glorious nights at the Inverlochy Castle Hotel, renowned as the finest country house hotel in Scotland.
Day 6 - Edinburgh
Enjoy a scenic drive through the Scottish countryside, stopping to explore Stirling Castle, a favorite residence of the Stuart monarch. We will also discover the splendid Renaissance Palace of James V, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. Later, browse the shops of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
Days 7 & 8 - The Royal Scotsman
Harken back to the era of luxury train travel as you board the Royal Scotsman. Enjoy afternoon tea in the luxurious observation car. Summit at Druimuachdar, an area dominated by the pagodas of a 19th-century distillery. Visit The Highland Folk Museum in Kingussie and listen to a captivating orator tell the story of this land. Days 9 - 1 - The Royal Scotsman to Edinburgh

You’ll never forget the color and pageantry of the Scottish Regiments, the Massed Highland Dancers and the worldfamous Massed Pipes and Drums.
