Referred to locally as "The Pink Palace" The Beverly Hills Hotel is a place to see and be seen, to catch glimpses of famous faces, or to revel in splendid luxury. What makes The Beverly Hills Hotel stand out is its superlative combination of service, a location that offers guests privacy, yet in the heart of a city, and a refreshed facility that, while faithful to the hotel's architectural and interior design traditions, is more dramatically beautiful than ever.

From the moment you enter your room at The Beverly Hills Hotel, you will see that every expectation of comfort, spaciousness, and beauty has been fulfilled. Our goal is to ensure that your every need has been anticipated and that no detail is overlooked.

The hotel has 204 guest rooms and suites, including 21 one-of-a-kind bungalows. Rooms are designed to feel spacious, timeless, and comfortably elegant. Distinct Beverly Hills accents, a subdued palette of greens, pinks, apricots, and yellows, are used throughout. All furnishings have been custom designed for the hotel. They include an armoire, slip-covered or English-style sofas, tufted stools at the foot of the bed, canopied beds, comforters made with matelassé fabric, velvet throw pillows, and artwork. Every room is unique, with different patterns, fabrics, hues, draperies, and textures.

The Beverly Hills Hotel has a number of specialty suites and bungalows with a private entrance, living area with baby grand piano, fireplace, and a 2000-square-foot balcony. The historic Paul Williams Suite is now immaculately restored to its former elegance, and the 2500-square-foot Presidential Suite has a private entrance with an adjoining commercially equipped kitchen, available with a personal 24-hour chef and butler, a Jacuzzi bath with separate his and hers showers, and a treadmill.

The 21 bungalows at The Beverly Hills Hotel are like individual homes, each with separate entrances, living rooms, dining rooms, wood-burning fireplaces, and a different configuration and decor, including one-of-a-kind furnishings and luxury materials such as granite and marble. Many of the bungalow suites have pianos, Jacuzzi tubs, and bathrobes. Many also have interesting histories: Liz Taylor honeymooned with six of her eight husbands in the bungalows, and Marilyn Monroe and Marlene Dietrich, among others, bunked in bungalows. Bungalow 5, the four-bedroom Presidential Bungalow, offers a private lap pool built in 1991 for frequent guest Walter Annenberg.

The hotel bathrooms are equipped with double sinks and a separate bath and shower. Pink Grecian marble and Italian granite are used. They come stocked with plush bath linens, terry cloth bathrobes and slippers, and custom-blended amenities such as foaming bath gel, conditioning shampoo, and hand and body lotion. Some suite and bungalow bathrooms feature electronic bathroom drapes, Jacuzzi tubs, bidets, and bathrobes.

Superior : These unique rooms offer classic wood furnishings bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow and beige. They feature a king bed, marble bathrooms and are located on mid-level floors with southern views towards the city of Beverly Hills. Approximately 425 square feet.

Superior with Balcony : These rooms offer classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed, a full marble bathroom, and are located on mid-level floors with southern views towards the city of Beverly Hills. Some have a gas fireplace. Approximately 425 square feet.

Deluxe : These rooms offer classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed or two double beds, a large work area with desk, a sitting area with sofa and coffee table, a full marble bathroom with separate shower, and some have a gas fireplace. They are available on all floors and provide views of the gardens, bungalows, residential neighborhood, or the city of Beverly Hills. Approximately 550 square feet.

Deluxe with Balcony : These rooms offer classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed or two double beds, a large work area with desk, a sitting area with sofa and coffee table, a full marble bathroom with separate shower, and some have a gas fireplace and private balconies or patios. They are available on all floors and provide views of the gardens, bungalows, residential neighborhood, or the city of Beverly Hills. Approximately 550 square feet.

Bungalow Guest Room : These rooms that are housed in the bungalows offer classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed or two double beds, a work area with desk, and some have a sitting area with sofa and coffee table, a full marble bathroom with separate shower, and a private entrance. Approximately 500 square feet.

Suites

Beverly Hills Suite : These suites feature classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed and some of the suites have a gas fireplace. They feature a spacious living room with a large work area with desk, 1½ marble bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, and benefit from north or south views. Approximately 800 square feet.

Beverly Hills Suite with Patio : These suites feature classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed, a gas fireplace, a spacious living room with large work area with desk, 1½ marble bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, a large private patio, and are situated on low floors. Approximately 800 square feet.

One Bedroom Grand Deluxe Suite : These suites feature classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed, a gas fireplace, a spacious living room with dining area, 1½ marble bathrooms, some with jacuzzi tub, a bidet, full kitchen, a grand piano, and private balconies or patios. Approximately 1200 to 1400 square feet.

Presidential Suite : This suite features classic wood furnishings and is bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. The suite has one king-size bed, full vanity and dressing area, gas fireplace, a spacious living room with dining area, den, and 1½ marble bathrooms with bidet, jacuzzi tub, and two stall showers. There is a full kitchen and access to a restaurant-size banquet kitchen across the hall, a grand piano, private balcony, and a top-floor view towards downtown Los Angeles. Approximately 1932 square feet.

Signature Suites

One Bedroom Garden Suite : Featuring classic wood furnishings and bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige, these suites have one king-size bed, a wood-burning fireplace, a spacious living room, one marble bathroom, a full kitchen, and a private balcony or porch. They are located in the lower garden area overlooking the courtyard and fountain. Approximately 800 square feet.

One Bedroom Suites : These suites feature classic wood furnishings and are bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. They have one king-size bed. Some of the suites have a wood-burning fireplace, a spacious living room, a marble bathroom, and a porch. They are located near the main building overlooking the lawn. Approximately 700 square feet.

One Bedroom Deluxe Suites : Featuring classic wood furnishings and bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige, these suites offer one king-size bed, and some have a wood-burning fireplace, a spacious living room, one or 1½ marble bathrooms, and a porch. Approximately 900 square feet.

One Bedroom Grand Deluxe Suites : Featuring classic wood furnishings and bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige, these suites have one king-size bed, a wood-burning fireplace, a spacious living room with dining area, 1½ marble bathrooms with a separate stall shower, some with bidets, a full kitchen, some with a grand piano, and a private patio. Approximately 1200 square feet.

Presidential Bungalow Suite : This suite features classic wood furnishings and is bathed in soft tones of peach, mauve, sage, yellow, and beige. It has one king-size bed, a wood-burning fireplace, a spacious living room with dining area, 1½ marble bathrooms with a separate stall shower and jacuzzi tub, a full kitchen, a private patio with an outdoor pool and a jacuzzi. Approximately 1300 square feet.

The Beverly Hills Hotel's famed Polo Lounge has been a favorite spot for numerous stars and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an inviting atmosphere. Poolside dining is available at The Cabana Club Café while informal meals can be enjoyed at The Fountain Coffee Room, complete with a soda fountain and 20 pink bar stools. Room Service is available around the clock, serving everything from gourmet breakfasts to romantic candlelit dinners.

The Polo Lounge : The Polo Lounge has been the favorite breakfast spot and watering hole for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers. A seasoned manager guides guests to indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night suppers. Lunch and dinner are served with piano accompaniment alternating with light jazz on the patio during the long summer nights. Jazz music is also featured during Sunday Brunch. In the evening guests can come to relax and enjoy one of our many specialty cocktails or one of our old favorites.

The Cabana Club Café : The Cabana Club Café offers relaxed, poolside dining in an attractive, umbrella-shaded outdoor café setting. Morning starters, appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, and fresh fruit smoothies are on the menu.

The Fountain Coffee Room : The Fountain Coffee Room serves informal breakfast, lunch, and light dinner menus. Breakfast options include omelets, pancakes, waffles, and French toast. Later in the day, salads, hot or cold sandwiches, and burgers grilled to order are on the menu. The Fountain Coffee Room also serves homemade natural ice creams and fresh baked pastries, pies, and cakes. The soda fountain offers a large selection of the specialties so big in the 1950s such as sodas, floats, malts, and shakes, plus the gourmet coffees popular today. A historical landmark, The Fountain Coffee Room has restored the 20 green bar stools that originally surrounded the classic curved soda fountain counter, built in 1949. Note the signature banana leaf wallpaper.

In Room Dining : Room Service is available round the clock, from gourmet breakfasts to romantic candlelit dinners. In addition, also available are legendary Polo Lounge menu favorites and specialty items for the health conscious, as well as an extensive wine list.

The Crystal Ballroom is The Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows' first ballroom and has kept its art deco style, capturing the expansive history and grace of this magnificent property. With its private foyer, built-in stage and dance floor, and French doors looking out onto the Crystal Garden, the room has baby grand pianos available. Crowned by spectacular chandeliers, the Crystal Ballroom is only one of our uniquely appointed function rooms. The Crystal, our largest ballroom, opens to floral gardens that include a white wedding gazebo.

The Sunset Ballroom is adorned with skyscape murals and French doors opening to a beautiful panoramic view of the city. This celestial-themed ballroom, with its unique chandelier designed exclusively for The Beverly Hills Hotel, is appropriately named as its French doors overlook Sunset Boulevard and provide guests with a heavenly indoor wedding at sunset.

Featuring sparkling crystal chandeliers and French doors looking out onto a Spanish-tiled terrace, the Rodeo Ballroom is one of our more traditional ballrooms, which is characterized by a built-in stage and a built-in dance floor with baby grand pianos available. Adjacent to this beautiful space is a private foyer with a built-in bar.

Tennis

Game, Set, and Match
You do not have to take "Centre Court" to play with a Wimbledon winner. The Beverly Hills Hotel tennis pro Alex Olmedo is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his 1959 Wimbledon Singles Championship victory. He is ready to help raise your game on the hotel's beautiful hard surface courts.

Alex Olmedo, Head Tennis Professional
Olmedo has spent 27 years as head tennis professional at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Prior to becoming head tennis professional in 1965, Olmedo spent five years touring the professional tennis circuit with tennis greats including Pancho Gonzales, Pancho Segura, Lew Hoad, Ken Rosewall, and Rod Laver.

His accomplishments include a variety of worldwide and Grand Slam titles, including Wimbledon Singles champion, Australian National Singles champion, United States National Singles runner-up, United States Doubles champion, and United States Indoor Singles champion. He also represented the United States on the international Davis Cup team in 1958 and 1959.

In 1986 Olmedo was inducted into the international Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, along with Billie Jean King, Bjorn Borg, and Stan Smith. Olmedo is also honored in the USC Hall of Fame for the numerous titles he has won in both singles and doubles NCAA tournaments on behalf of his alma mater.
