The Luxury King or Two Queen Rooms boast 450 square feet of living space with spectacular garden, lake, fairway, or putting-green views. The richly colored furnishings create a warm décor complete with oversize plasma screen TV, plush bedding, and a stylish tile bathroom with granite countertops.

Doggy Bed
Upon arrival, your pet will be welcomed with a personalized card from our resident canine, Max. You also will receive Max’s Pet Picks — A pampered pooch’s guide to Carmel. A soft pet bed with sheet, food and water dishes and a placemat will be in your guestroom for use throughout your stay. Pets also will receive an all-natural Quail Dog Bone made for Quail Lodge.
Quail Lodge Dining
 To make your dining experience complete, we recommend drinking in the view. Our restaurants are designed to harmonize with the setting, so you can dine overlooking the lake or enjoy countryside vistas with your lunch. All of the dishes on our innovative menus are made using the freshest local ingredients. And in case you can’t tear your eyes away from the scenery, our chef wants you to know they’re also presented beautifully.
The Covey
Tuesday–Saturday evening from 5–7pm / New prix fixe dinner until 9pm
It’s California Mediterranean cuisine with a twist. With an innovative menu of fresh local ingredients, an award-winning wine list, lakeside dining, and scenic views from our spacious deck, our signature restaurant is a feast for the senses.

Edgar’s
Take your classic sports bar, add a layer of luxury and a splash of scenery, and you have Edgar’s. Enjoy the late sun at the walk-up patio bar. Dine indoors or outdoors by the fireplaces. Or catch today’s sporting events on the dozen flat-screen TVs. Edgar's is open from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week.

Land Rover Experience Driving School
Open year-round, the Land Rover Experience Driving School provides customized lessons and adventure for all skill levels. Guided by your qualified instructor, you’ll make steep descents down a two-track trail, climb piles of logs and navigate tight hairpin turns. Lessons and programs range from one hour to multiple days.
Tennis
Three carefully maintained hard tennis courts are available for guests’ use from sunrise to sunset. Appropriate tennis attire includes tennis shorts or skirt, shirt, shoes, and optional warm-up pants and jacket.
Swimming
Enjoy relaxing in the sunshine at the resort swimming pool with an outdoor spa, cozy chaise lounges, teak-wood tables, and umbrellas—all set in a beautifully landscaped area close to guest rooms and suites. In addition, Golf Club’s private swimming pool offers relaxing chaise lounges in a sun-drenched setting next to the Golf Club and snack shack.

 The Lodge is surrounded by pathways for jogging and strolling, and the nearby Santa Lucia mountains offer miles of scenic hiking trails. Just off Carmel Valley Road, Garland Ranch Regional Park features waterfalls, riverside hikes and panoramic vistas from Snively’s Ridge. Along the coast, Point Lobos offers nature walks and short but spectacular trails, while Garrapata State Park’s Soberanes Canyon and Rocky Ridge Loop trails boast redwood-shaded canyons and sweeping coastal views.
Bocce
Throughout history innumerable bocce games have been played in the streets, alleys, squares, and country greens of every European country and in North and South America. At Quail Lodge, guests can choose from two regulation courts to play bocce (pronounced “boch-ee”). It’s simple to learn and a joy to play for couples, families, and groups up to 16. Make it a social game or a competition. No matter how you play bocce, it’s always fun and makes everyone laugh.
9-Hole Putting Green
Sharpen your short game with the 9-hole, championship putting green that meanders around many of the guest rooms. With beautiful valley views in a garden-like setting, it’s a relaxing way to socialize with friends, family, and colleagues. Some make it competitive; others take their time with a bottle of wine. TomatoFest
The 16th annual NatureSweet Carmel TomatoFest will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Quail Lodge in Carmel Valley. Ticket price includes all foods, wines and activities. The event has been called by loyal return guests and the media 'the best food and wine event of the year in Central California.' Children under 12, accompanied by parent, are admitted free.
