Room Types
Ojai Room: Averaging 425 square feet, these rooms are located throughout our beautiful 220-acre Spanish Colonial styled resort. Generously appointed with the finest linens in our signature "Ojai Nest" bedding and Spa Ojai amenities. Guests receive resort privileges including complimentary valet parking, free newspaper, and access to fitness classes, pools and the driving range.
Shangri La Room : Averaging 445 square feet, these rooms offer views of the mountains, golf course or the pool area. Views range from the back valley to the golf course. Bedding, amenities and resort privileges are the same as our Ojai rooms.
Shangri La with Fireplace : Averaging 550 square feet, these rooms feature a romantic Spanish styled fireplace as well as a deep soaking tub and separate glass shower. Furnished balconies offer additional living space with views of the resort. Bedding, amenities and resort privileges are the same as our Ojai rooms.
Fireplace Mini-Suites : Averaging 625 square feet, these suites feature a romantic Spanish styled fireplace with seating area and a deep soaking tub and separate glass shower. Furnished balconies offer additional living space with views of the resort. Bedding, amenities and resort privileges are the same as our Ojai rooms.
Fireplace Suite : Averaging 800 square feet, these one-bedroom suites offer a luxuriously decorated living room for additional relaxation and entertaining. They feature a romantic Spanish styled fireplace in both the living room and the bedroom. Furnished balconies offer additional living space with views of the resort. Bedding, amenities and resort privileges are the same as our Ojai rooms.
Fontana Suite : Averaging 1200 square feet and located near the Spa Ojai Village, this suite features Spanish styled fireplaces in both the living area as well as in the bedroom. A beautifully decorated living room complete with dining area welcomes you upon entrance. A spacious bathroom featuring a deep soaking tub, separate glass encased shower is accessed through the bedroom, while a half bath is available at the entry foyer. Views include the golf course, surrounding mountains and interior courtyards. Bedding, amenities and resort privileges are the same as our Ojai rooms.
Four bedroom Penthouse Suite : Averaging 1500 square feet (not including balcony), these suites are located atop Spa Ojai. Private key controlled access to the penthouse floor of Spa Ojai provides a safe and controlled setting. Floor-to-ceiling windows open up onto the balcony with an outdoor fireplace and deep soaking hot tub available for enjoyment. A private sauna is available to penthouse guests located on the penthouse floor. A private treatment room is available as well exclusively for penthouse guests for massages or body treatments. Bose stereo units offer surround sound enjoyment.
Dining
 The orchards, ranches and farms of the Ojai Valley yield the finest seasonal food the earth has to offer and it is one of the only true Mediterranean climates of the world with its warm days and cool nights. Inspired by the many microclimates of Central California and the bounty they bring forth, our chefs have mastered California Central Coast Cuisine.
The bounty of a rich California harvest is served each day in our restaurants. Tender heirloom tomatoes, citrus, kiwi and other freshly picked fruits and vegetables are grown in abundance. Rosemary, basil, tarragon, thyme, lavender, lemon grass and edible flowers are harvested from the Inn's herb gardens. Local farmers and ranchers supply fresh, wholesome menu ingredients for which Ojai has become famous.
Maravilla Restaurant
Maravilla is the resort's signature restaurant featuring both elegant ambiance as well as an award winning California Central Coast Cuisine. We have created a unique menu that highlights fresh foods grown in the California region. The menu utilizes the freshest local fruits, seasonal vegetables, nuts and olives, as well as seafood from the nearby Pacific coast. Maravilla's extensive wine list consistently garners awards from such publications as Wine Spectator magazine. Dining at Maravilla promises to be a memorable experience during your stay at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa.
Oak Café Restaurant
Oak Café is our featured restaurant for great casual dining all day long. Enjoy our warm and friendly atmosphere indoors by the fireplace or on the outdoor terrace surrounded by ancient oak trees. Our chef has prepared classic American Grill cuisine and Oak Café features an extensive Central California wine list.
Café at the Spa
Located in the Spa Ojai courtyard, Café at the Spa is a great place to relax and enjoy light and healthy fare. The Café menu features a variety of delicious salads, sandwiches and wraps, fresh juices, smoothies and a selection of fine wines. Served daily from 11am to 2pm. No reservations are required.
Jimmy's Pub
Jimmy's is a great gathering spot to meet with friends after a full day of outdoor activities at the Inn. Its casual atmosphere is a perfect spot for lunch and cocktails. The menu features selections from our wood burning brick pizza oven and a full selection of draft beers and central coast wines.
Cocktail Lounge at Maravilla
The Cocktail Lounge at Maravilla offers a full bar and festive dessert martinis. Open Wednesday through Sunday, 6pm to 10pm.
The Swim Club
Located at our main pool, The Swim Club offers casual poolside dining from April through November. Items include fresh soups and salads, tasty sandwiches, hearty burgers, snack items and a wide selection of Inn-made ice creams and sorbets. Room service is available at the pool from December through March.

For the convenience of our guests, our In-Room dining features favorite selections from our restaurants. Breakfast, lunch and dinner may be ordered in the privacy of your room throughout the day or evening. We also offer specialty services including picnic and hospitality platters. You may select items from our All-Day menu, and a delicious meal will be packed for you to enjoy in a romantic spot of your choice. Guests planning on having friends or family visit may choose from a wide range of hors d'oeuvres, fruits or dessert platters to be delivered to their room. And of course, special request orders are always welcome.

Kuyam: the signature mud treatment at Spa Ojai
In every way, the Kuyam treatment at Spa Ojai is a celebration of the harmony of cultures. From the design and decor of the Kuyam chamber, to the use of healing clays and the sharing of a communal experience, the Kuyam marries the best of ancient traditions with the new. The word "kuyam" means "a place to rest together" in the language of the Chumash people who originally inhabited the Ojai Valley, but the Kuyam also takes inspiration from the traditional healing ways of many cultures.
The only treatment of this type in the United States, we encourage all of our guests to experience the Kuyam.
This treatment combines the therapeutic effects of cleansing mud, dry heat, inhalation therapy and guided meditation. A terry wrap will be provided. Accommodates up to eight men or women per session.

 California's breathtaking Ojai Valley has a centuries-old tradition as a gathering place for the health and fitness minded. Golf
In a setting as natural and unspoiled as the Ojai Valley, it is only fitting that it's home to one of America's premier championship golf courses. First sculpted from the natural terrain in 1923 by renowned architect George C. Thomas Jr., this historic 18-hole course plays 6,292 yards and par 70. The legends of golf have all played here- Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Chi Chi Rodriguez are but a few who come to mind.
The course is fully staffed by PGA Professionals who are experts at organizing group events, clinics, tournaments and both individual and group instruction. The Inn also features a fully stocked Golf Shop with the finest selection in sportswear apparel, equipment and golf accessories.

Local Area Activities
 Guided fishing
Relax in Paradise and catch freshwater Trophy Large mouth Bass. Southern California's Lake Casitas produces trophy sized bass and other fish at an alarming rate. You'll be picked up at the resort by a professional guide and taken to beautiful Lake Casitas to try your luck at fishing.
Guided bike tours
Ventura To The Beach: Suited for intermediate levels. Approx. 2 hrs; 16 miles. You will take the scenic Ventura Bike Path to the beach, stopping halfway for a snack and restroom break. Transportation back to the Inn, bikes, helmets and water bottles provided.
Orchard Ride: Suited for intermediate Levels. Approx. 1.5 hr. long; 7-9 miles. You will ride through the Orange Groves in Ojai. You will stop half way for a snack and continue through the flat, lush green valley floor while the majestic Topa Topa Bluffs stretch above you.
Winery/Foster Park Ride: *ONLY AVAILABLE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY* Suited for intermediate levels, ride to Foster Park is approx. 1 hour, 9 miles, along the scenic Ojai Bike Trail. Break provided for water, snacks and a restroom break. Group will be taken by van to Oak Creek Winery for tasting.

Island excursions
There are three destinations available for you to visit in the Channel Islands National Park. Island Packers lands at Anacapa Island's Landing Cove, and two destinations on Santa Cruz Island. There are no services on the islands, please pack in what you will need for the day, including food and water, and pack out all trash. Dress in layers for outdoor activity, and wear sturdy shoes for safety and comfort.
Whale watching
On all Island Packers' trips to the Channel Islands we cruise with an open eye for wildlife, especially everyone's favorite, whales and dolphins. There are also two seasons each year where we specifically go out into the waters of the Santa Barbara Channel and the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary just to look for whales. The annual gray whale migration in the local area is best viewed from late December through March. Shortly after the gray whale migration has passed, there is a chance to see other large whales like the endangered humpback and the blue whale. Humpback and blue whales are attracted to the local area during periods of upwelling, an ocean condition that produces the planktonic food preferred by these whales. Typically the ocean conditions that produce this feeding phenomenon occur between July and September.

Coastline Paddle Experience
Come experience the wonders of our beautiful coastline. You will start off with a complete ocean kayaking lesson and then the adventure begins. We kayak through the pristine Channel Islands Harbor as we make our way to our local waters viewing the fascinating wildlife such as seals, dolphins, crabs, starfish, numerous species of sea birds and more. All with a gorgeous view of the Channel Islands. Includes instruction, kayak, paddle, backrest, and life vest.
Channel Island Kayak Cave and Cove Adventure
Come with us and explore one of California's most pristine and untouched natural wonders the Channel Islands. We transport you to one of the Channel Islands where our expert guides will take you on an adventure you will never forget. On the way out to the islands we often encounter dolphins and whales in the Santa Barbara Channel and close in to the islands. When we arrive the guide orientates the group also giving instruction and lessons to beginner groups before we set out into clear island waters. As we paddle you will be amazed by the visibility, you can look down and see the bottom 40 to 100 feet below your kayak teaming with sea life. When you look up, you'll see spectacular sea caves, rock archways, and fountain like blowholes. We travel into several of the fantastic sea caves for a closer look at these natural formations, and the plant and animal life they contain. The islands are rich in animal life being home to several species of seals and sea birds just to name a few. When conditions permit we stop to snorkel in calm coves on warm days. With the clear waters and rich sea life it is a terrific experience. These sites are one of the gifts the world offers us. When we take the opportunity to experience them, we experience life. Includes round trip island transportation, kayak, paddle, seatback, life vest, helmet, and guide.
Surf lessons for beginner and advanced surfers
Take surf lessons from a champion surfer. Mike Lamb can assist you with all aspects of surfing while teaching you about technique and ocean safety.
