Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Your vacation begins with breakfast as you awake in your deluxe accommodations. You will hit the ground running today, with wineries on the agenda. Enjoy two wineries before a gourmet lunch that includes beautiful views. After lunch you will experience a vineyard and production tour at a famous Willamette winery. Then you will continue tasting at two more wineries before heading back to Portland. Dinner this evening will be at “The Heathman Restaurant.” Your personal dinner reservations will ensure the finest of all dining experiences.
Day 2
After breakfast today, you will visit your choice of either Mount St. Helens or Mount Hood. It will be a day of taking in beautiful scenery. You can relax at the base of the majestic peaks, take a long walk, or hike your way up the mountains steep slopes. Lunch and dinner will be provided for you today as part of your outdoor activity.
Day 3
The day will begin with breakfast, and then you will pack your bags and wine taste your way south to Salem Oregon. You will have a private tour and lunch will be served at a very well known and prestigious winery. You will wine taste the rest of the afternoon, or explore the charming town of Salem. You will stay the night in a beautiful suite at one of Salem’s most deluxe hotels. You will be fine dinning tonight at the hotel’s “Bentley’s Grill.”
Day 4
You will begin with breakfast, then check out of your room and head back to Portland. Your wine tasting today will along the back roads of Willamette Valley. Enjoy special tours, tasting, and then a gourmet picnic. You will then head north to Portland, where this evening you will relax at the very romantic restaurant, “The Paley’s Palace.”
Day 5
Today after breakfast, you will be driven to Washington Park, where you will walk through a Japanese Garden, where ancient Japan is recaptured. Sip exotic tea’s at the garden’s teahouse, and then walk to the International Rose Test Gardens, where you will find yourself among one of the largest and oldest rose gardens, containing 7,000 roses. The rest of the day will be all about chocolate. Visit several of Portland’s own chocolate stores. You will find goodies that you will not forget. Take the afternoon to enjoy award winning chocolate and gifts. This evening, a dinner reservation will be waiting for you at “Jakes Famous Crawfish.”
Day 6
Eat a hearty breakfast today, because we’ve set this day aside for you to explore the best of Portland’s shopping. Choose from outlet malls, shopping squares, river walks, or stroll the streets of Portland stopping at boutique stores and major department stores. Lunch is own your own today, but save room for dinner tonight! We have a special treat in store for you this evening. Take in the city lights of Portland as you take a romantic dinner cruise down the Columbia River.
Day 7
After breakfast today, you will design what you want to accomplish on your last day in the beautiful northwest. Choose from a long list of specially selected activities. This evening you will dine at another very romantic and famous restaurant, “Genoa.”
Day 8
After breakfast, transportation will be provided for you back to Portland International.
