Tour Itinerary
Day 1
The Russian River Wine Road will begin your wine tasting adventure. Enjoy a fabulous lunch at a prestigious family-owned wine estate that specializes in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Sip at your own pace because you will visit four different wineries to-day. Enjoy an elegant and scrumptious dinner at “John Ash and Company” this eve-ning. Dinner reservations are made for you.
Day 2
Get your head above the clouds this morning with an early morning balloon ride. See the beautiful Sonoma wine region and a glimpse of Sonoma’s rugged coast-line. After your ride, enjoy a full breakfast in a beautiful vineyard. Consider an after-noon of down time by the pool, or treat yourself to luxury spa treatments. This evening you will enjoy an extravagant wine-maker’s dinner at a local hot spot “Syrah” in Santa Rosa.
Day 3
The beautiful Alexander Valley is the focus for today. Begin with a viticulture and production tour, and end your tasting experience in a wine cave with barrel sam-pling. A delicious box lunch will be waiting for you on the deck at noon. Your afternoon transportation is a vintage horse-drawn carriage to visit more Alexander Valley wineries. Dinner includes “Chef Jeff,” and a gourmet five-course dinner in a historic adobe home that once was the home of Cyrus Alexander.
Day 4
Spend the day at Healdsburg, a charming picturesque town. Your free time here may include a casual stroll along the famous streets of the town square. Lunch is your choice today since there are many fabulous eating establishments in Healdsburg. Don’t forget to taste more wine today because Healdsburg is home to more than 10 dif-ferent wineries. This evening you will dine at the well known “Cyrus” restaurant. Your meal will begin with an ounce of caviar and a glass of sparkling wine. Pace yourself, because this is a seven-course wine-paired meal. Bon Appetite!
Day 5
Hop into your stretch limousine and enjoy the “Best of the Bay” sailing adven-ture. See Alcatraz, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Sausalito in a 51-foot sailboat. All this fresh ocean air will create an appetite for fresh seafood. Upon returning to the marina, you will have a five-course meal prepared. Learn how to get the most out of food and wine with the courses paired by a local sommelier. This evening the limo will take you to Berkley and then to one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Top 10 restaurants, “Chez Panisse.”
Day 6
Sonoma Valley is the ticket today. Stop at two well-known wineries on your way into the charming town of Sonoma. Check out the famous San Francisco Solano de Sonoma Mission, and the home and military barracks of General Mariano Vallejo. Be sure to visit more of the town’s famous wineries. Tonight dinner is at “The General’s Daughter.” This is the actual home of General Vallejo’s daughter, which is now turned into a modern but elegant wine country restaurant.
Day 7
We have selected several wineries for you to choose from today, depend-ing on your personal preferences. Choose from private tasting, wineries with tours, great wine gift shops, or scenic estates located in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley. You will be provided a picnic lunch at a winery of your choice. This evening your dinner will be at the famous “Madrona Manor.” Your taste buds will dance for joy
Day 8
Sleep in before your leisurely ride to one of the Bay Area airports for your return flight home.
