Conch Villas
With 950 sq. ft. and sleeping space for five, our 2 bedroom, 2 bath conch villas are your home away from home. If a relaxing vacation is what you crave, the optional private tropical spa pool on a waterview porch will melt your worries away.

Cottage Villas
For the family that needs a little extra room, our 1,325 sq. ft. cottages with 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath, and den will give you the space you need to share memories that will last a lifetime. Cottage villas sleep up to six. A very limited number of three bedroom cottages are available on request.

Marina Villas
With 1,650 sq. ft. and the ability to sleep six, our single level marina villas with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths are the largest accommodations we offer. Palm Terrace

Indies Spa at Hawk's Cay features 3 massage suites, 2 facial suites, 1 vichy shower/wet room, 1 manicure and pedicure suite with 2 thrones and deluxe nail drying area, grand relaxing room completed with herbal teas, fresh fruit and healthy snacks, as well as eucalyptus steam, sauna and whirlpool. Adjacent to the spa is our hair salon and state-of-the-art fitness center with Cybex strength training and cardiovascular equipment. The spa and fitness center is open to resort guests ages 16 and up.

Our Indies teen spa features a teen suite for youths ages 8-15 to enjoy an introduction to spa services. All services are provided with the utmost care and concern for this age group.

Dolphin Discovery
Interact directly with the dolphins for 25 minutes in the saltwater lagoon as skilled trainers guide this 45-minute program. Participants must be 54 inches (138 cm) or taller. Participants must be able to read, speak, and understand English. For their safety, pregnant guests are not allowed to participate. Designed as an interactive encounter, participants will not swim with the dolphins.

Dockside Dolphins
This unique 30-minute dockside program provides families with a behind-the-scenes look at dolphin training and the opportunity to participate as a dolphin trainer's assistant. Participants 5 and younger must be accompanied by a paid adult. Infants & Children pay to participate. Since this is a dockside encounter, participants will not enter the water.

Hawk's Cay offers a broad range of water activities for the whole family.

Flats Fishing
The vast amount of shallow water on ocean side flats, and on banks and flats throughout Florida Bay and the Everglades Park, provides anglers with the unique experience of Keys Flats and Backcountry fishing.

Flats fishing with either fly gear or light spinning gear combines the experience of hunting and fishing, as you actually stalk and then cast to spectacular sport species like Bonefish, Permit and Tarpon, often in water as shallow as a foot deep. Bonefish and Permit provide long lightning-fast runs and Tarpon offer leaps to amaze and challenge any angler. Full-day charters can get you to the Everglades Park where Redfish and Snook add to the possibilities.

If you prefer general Backcountry Fishing to sightfishing, Florida Bay offers trout, sharks, barracuda, jacks and snapper.

Large Tarpon ranging to over one hundred pounds migrate through the Keys each spring and early summer. Live bait trips, particularly around dusk, offer many anglers the best chance to do battle with the Giant Silver King. Beware: Tarpon Season is very popular! Call ahead for your best booking opportunities.

Off Shore Fishing
Offshore and reef fishing occurs in or near the Gulf Stream, a warm water current originating in the Gulf, running past the Keys and stretching on to England. Trolling with one of our captains can bring great success in catching spectacular Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Kingfish, Marlin, and Wahoo.

One of the best fishing locales in the Middle Keys is called Marathon West Hump, accessible on a full-day charter from Hawks Cay Resort. This is a sudden uprising surrounded by deep water which attracts large numbers of baitfish which, in turn, attract Mahi Mahi, Marlin, and Tuna.

We invite you to try your hand at finding Sailfish, Mackerel, and Barracuda amongst all the live and artificial reefs surrounding Duck Key. The rich coral life attracts feisty Snapper and tenacious Grouper which can provide delicious meals when fishing is done.

In the winter months (November through April), fishing is best along the reef edge to catch Sailfish, Kingfish, Yellowtail, and Mangrove Snapper. The summer months (May through October) provide great Gulf Stream action for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Blue Marlin.

Fly Fishing
Whether you're new to the art of fly fishing or you would like a one-on- one refresher course, our expert guides offer hands-on lessons in the use of fly rods and gear.

Learn fundamental angling terminology and skills in a full-day fishing lesson in a practical environment - the water.

Our guides can teach you how to fly cast and the basics of rods, reels, lines and leaders. You will also learn about different types of bait, unique fish behavior and how to spot some of the most elusive fish in the Keys.

Rods, reels, bait and licenses come with every excursion. Our backcountry boats best accommodate two anglers, so advanced reservations are recommended.

Scuba
Splash into adventure with a diving excursion to one of North America's only living coral reefs. View the tropical fish and spectacular sea creatures of the Florida Keys. Tilden's Scuba Center at Hawk's Cay features half and full-day charters for all experience levels, with captain and dive master, equipment rental and a fully-accredited NAUI, PADI, and PDIC dive school. Open 7 days a week, 8am to 6pm.

Snorkeling
Let our snorkeling specialists bring you to see the wonders of one of North America's only living coral reefs. Swim with schools of fish and experience the thrill of snorkeling in the second most diverse eco-system in the world. Departing twice daily at 9 am and 1 pm.

Sailing

Our Wakeboard & Waterski School will teach you to edge across the calm waters of the tropical Florida Keys. Training from beginner/novice instruction to advanced techniques including wakeboards, slalom, skiing, combos, and kneeboarding. Let our enthusiastic, positive, and fun instructors create an unforgettable vacation experience for the whole family. Bring your own equipment or feel free to utilize our complete line of Blindside Wakeboards and Kidder Skis as you're towed behind one of our competition ski boats. Open year round, our average water temperature is 75°. Fifteen minute sessions to corporate packages available to fit your busy vacation schedule. Reservations highly recommended.
 

Parasailing
Experience the thrill of flying as you get a bird's eye view of waters around Hawks Cay, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Florida Bay! Comfortable and safe for family members of all ages, our custom boat allows gentle weightless take off and landing right on board. Trips run daily with a maximum of 6 passengers per trip.

Golf
Championship Course
Resort guests have playing privileges at the 18-hole Sombrero Country Club championship course, located 11 miles from the resort.  $105 per person including cart. Arrange for tee times with the concierge by calling extension 1111.

Putting Green
Practice your putting at the resort by playing on our 18-hole putting green, located at the Indies Club.

Tennis
Swing into action surrounded by lush, tropical foliage on two Har-Tru courts - which are lit for night play - or on six Laykold courts. With an on-site PTR professional, players can receive personal, customized instruction.

Tennis enthusiasts can also participate in a variety of scheduled activities - including ladies' and men's round robins, clinics, find-a-partner service, and mixed doubles round robins. Guests may also reserve use of courts and tennis ball machines.

Island Adventure Club
Children ages 6-12 embark on adventure with nature-oriented games, arts & crafts, swimming and sports activities. Please come dressed in swimsuits and bring along sunscreen and a change of clothes. Reservations required; space is limited. Offered Daily.
