 Rooms & Suites
Taj Boston maintains 273 guestrooms, including 45 executive and garden view suites. Every space has been enhanced with elegant furnishings, imported fabrics, luxurious bedding and pampering bath amenities. Plush linens, feather duvets, crystal chandeliers and windows that open to breathtaking views of Boston infuse the rooms with style. All suites have wood-burning fireplaces and a smart townhouse ambience. A Fireplace Butler assists guests in selecting the right wood for the perfect fire. Taj Boston offers smoking and non-smoking floors.
Deluxe Room
The 360-square-foot Deluxe Rooms have a view of either Newbury Street, Commonwealth Avenue or an interior space. Rooms have a luxurious marble bath and a choice of a King-size bed or two Queen-size beds. Connecting Deluxe Rooms are offered based on availability.
Garden View Room
The 360-square-foot Garden View Rooms enjoy spectacular views of Boston's Public Garden. The rooms have a luxurious marble bath and a choice of a King-size bed or two double beds. Connecting Garden View Rooms are offered based on availability.
Commonwealth Room
The Commonwealth Rooms are in the New Wing of Taj Boston. At 410 square feet or 38 square meters, the Commonwealth rooms have a choice of king or two double beds and a beautiful view of Commonwealth Avenue. Commonwealth rooms offer a classic comfort with elegant furnishings and luxurious bedding. The bathroom has a luxury marble bath with plush bath robes and luxury toiletries.
Junior Suite
Junior Suites are 540 square feet or 50 square meters and have a separate bedroom. The suite has a large connecting residential parlor with a wood-burning fireplace and the services of the Fireplace Butler and Firewood Menu. There is the luxury of a marble bath with plush bath robes and luxury toiletries. The suite offers serene interior views. Junior suites do not connect to other rooms.
Executive Suite
Executive one-bedroom suites feature 800 square feet or 74 square meters with a king-size master bedroom. They include a large connecting parlor, a dining area with table to sit 6 guests, a lavish luxury marble bathroom and most have a wood-burning fireplace with the services of the Fireplace Butler and Firewood Menu. The Executive Suite offers a serene interior view. There is no connecting room available.
Children’s Suite
The Children’s Suite offers 700 square feet or 65 square meters. It includes the children’s room with two beds and a connecting master bedroom with a king-size bed for parents or nanny. The Children’s Suite, with an interior view, features a whimsical children’s bedroom/playroom complete with child-sized furniture, an entertainment center with television, VCR and Stereo, arts and crafts center, toys, a variety of adorable stuffed animals, games and a mini refrigerator stocked with children’s treats.
Garden View Suite
Garden View one-bedroom suits feature 580 square feet or 53 square meters with a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a large connecting parlor area. The residential feel of a Boston town house is enhanced by the desk and chair and upholstered furnishings. The wood-burning fireplace with the services of the Fireplace Butler and Firewood Menu add a warm ambiance. These corner suites have a luxury marble bath with plush bath robes and luxury toiletries and spectacular views of the Public Garden from the living room.
Luxury Garden View Suite
Luxury Garden View one-bedroom suites offer 700 square feet or 65 square meters with a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a large connecting parlor and a wood-burning fireplace with the services of the Fireplace Butler and Firewood Menu. The bathrooms have a luxury marble bath with plush bath robes and luxury toiletries. The suite has spectacular views of the Public Garden and fashionable Newbury Street. Suite guests enjoy access to the exclusive newly renovated Taj Boston Club Lounge with dedicated Concierges, five complimentary artistic food presentations and beverages throughout the day. Connecting rooms are offered, and are based on availability.
Commonwealth Suite
The Commonwealth suite has 1,040 square feet or 96 square meters which features a master bedroom with two queen-size beds and a large residential parlor area. The suite offers spectacular views of Commonwealth Avenue and the Public Garden. Guests have access to the exclusive newly renovated Taj Boston Club Lounge with dedicated Concierges, five complimentary artistic food presentations and beverages throughout the day. The bathroom has a luxury marble bath with plush bath robes and luxury toiletries. Connecting Garden View room with king bed are available upon request when a two bedroom suite is needed.
Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite offers 1,540 square feet or 143 square meters of luxury space. Specially designed with lush upholstery fabrics, opulent tasseled draperies, carpeting and custom-designed furnishings, this corner suite of rooms overlooks the Public Garden and elegant Commonwealth Avenue mall. A foyer leads into a sweeping living room and dining room with walls of windows. Original art works from the hotel's impressive collection are on display throughout. The dining room table seats 6 and can also be used for receptions. There is a bar for entertaining beside the dining room and a service kitchen.
Refinements that add to the Beacon Hill townhouse atmosphere include luxury bed linens, duvet and feather bed on the four-poster king bed. The stylish beige and white marble oversized bathroom has a soaking tub with Jacuzzi, bidet, bath tub pillow and organizer tray and separate marble and glass shower complimented with plush bath robes and luxury toiletries and bath amenities. The services of The Bath Butler and Bath Menu adding to the pampering are also available at an additional fee.
The entertainment technology in The Presidential Suite has a Bang and Olufsen Beovision 5 – 42” HD Plasma television complete with integrated loudspeakers and motorized floor stand. Bang & Olufsen stereo and CD player. STSN High Speed Internet Access and Data ports on telephone. Master bedroom has Bose stereo/radio. “Plug and Play” High Speed Internet, Data ports on telephone.

Taj Club rooms are 325 square feet 30 square meter with king bed only. Guest rooms offer spectacular views of fashionable Newbury Street, the Public Garden or an Interior View. All Taj Club guests enjoy access to the exclusive newly renovated Club Lounge with dedicated Concierges with five complimentary artistic food presentations and beverages throughout the day.
Taj Club Junior Suite

Taj Boston Hotel Resort Dining
 The Bar
The room that has hosted conversation, trysts, laughter, style and spirits since the 1930’s when Prohibition was repealed, has a new presence. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the picturesque Public Garden, and its popular club-like décor and a crackling fireplace set the scene for Chef Steigerwald’s new light-dining menus. From Tuesday through Saturday, a pianist plays from 6:00 to midnight, and on Fridays, a jazz trio plays to midnight.
The Café
The perfect spot for power breakfasts, business luncheons and fine dining before or after the theater. The Café has a wall of windows overlooking fashionable Newbury Street. Taj Boston has infused a new panache into The Café, a Boston landmark for over 55 years. Executive Chef Franck Steigerwald and his culinary team launched the new menus that reflect classic favorites with appealing surprises. The fresh New England flavors are accented by a subtle blending of Italian and French influences.
Attire: No workout attire, tee shirts, shorts or tennis shoes.
The Lounge
Ideal for traditional Afternoon Tea or for relaxing with a glass of port or champagne. The Boston tradition of Afternoon Tea in this elegant drawing room setting with windows overlooking fashionable Newbury Street has a new luxury. Silver tea services, fine china, three-tiered silver trays, the elegant service and convivial atmosphere, all are perfect for socializing or informal business meetings. The international tea selections have been enhanced. “T”, the finest loose leaf teas and herbals from throughout the world are now custom blended to Taj Boston specifications and Executive Chef Franck Steigerwald has created new tea menus.
