One of America's largest snowmaking systems. We can cover 69% of the mountain trails. Heavenly features top to bottom snowmaking coverage in both California and Nevada , more coverage than any other Tahoe resort.
During the 1998-99 season , Heavenly opened on October 18th, enjoying its earliest opening ever.
Snowboarding :
Heavenly offers snowboarding on 100% of the mountain. This season, the resort will offer a snowboard park, a snowboard-cross course, and a halfpipe . Several terrain features are also constructed regularly on the mountain, including spines, rolls and flat-tops.
