Peacock Alley - Modern and elegant, the stunning new Peacock Alley restaurant embraces the future and yet pays homage to the history of the Waldorf.

Located in the heart of the bustling main lobby Peacock Alley's setting is opportune and ideal for getting a taste of a culinary experience or to host a special event in the private dining room.

Featuring an upscale 103-seat restaurant, a 30-foot long bar, and a private salon, guests of Peacock Alley can choose from a distinctive lunch of small plates and traditional selections, to a prix fixe, an extraordinary a la carte dinner menu, and a sumptuous Sunday brunch.

For over a century, the chefs of The Waldorf=Astoria have been celebrated for their rich heritage. This heritage is celebrated weekly at the hotel's famed Sunday Brunch. This collaborative effort by the hotel's chefs highlights many of their most fabulous creations.
The work of 14 cooks, from exec to sous-chefs, goes into the preparation of our lavish Sunday brunch. The gourmet experience includes a spectacular array of 12 themed food displays and over 100 gourmet treats from which to choose, all artfully displayed near the hotel’s legendary Lobby Clock Tower.

The brunch is served in the Main Lobby of the hotel and is accompanied with live piano music. Guests are seated in Peacock Alley restaurant and private dining salons from 10:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m.

Bull and Bear Steakhouse & Bar
Serving Lunch and Dinner
 
Bull and Bear - With one of the most historic and well-recognized bars in New York City, this celebrated steakhouse offers hearty portions of traditional fare, as well as weekly specials. In addition to its impressive selection of fresh seafood, Bull and Bear was the first restaurant on the Eastern Seaboard serving the Prime grade of Certified Angus Beef. At the polished mahogany bar enjoy specialty beers and generous cocktails, including the best Martini in the city. Located on the corner of 49th Street and Lexington Avenue.


Oscar's American Brasserie
Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Weekend Brunch
 
Oscar's at the Waldorf=Astoria delightfully marries neighborhood gathering place and stylish brasserie with all of the amenities of one of New York's landmark hotels. In the morning, bountiful American and Continental breakfast buffets are offered, as well as an eclectic a la carte menu that includes Japanese cuisine and a Low Carbohydrate Breakfast. At lunch, diners are impressed by Chef Alan Ashkinaze buffet, which offers quick convenience, in addition to an extensive a la carte menu for those looking to enjoy a more leisurely afternoon. Oscar's three course prix-fixe dinner specials, quarterly micro brew beer dinners and seasonal menus consistently delight New York diners, as well as "out of towners". Inagiku Restaurant
Innovative Japanese Cuisine
 
Stylish and exotic, Inagiku presents New-Style Japanese cuisine in a theatrical setting. The first fine dining Japanese restaurant in midtown Manhattan, this nearly 30-year-old institution attracts a devoted clientele of international Epicureans seeking contemporary twists on time-honored preparations. Ask about the exquisite tatami rooms for very private dining.

Bars/Lounges

Peacock Alley Bar
The elaborate 30 foot long bar with tan leather bar chairs reveals cast-glass female silhouettes, commissioned by Brooklyn’s Flickinger Glassworks. A relaxing lounge area behind the bar reveals cozy seating, with a peacock mural reclaimed from the former restaurant. Join us for “The Debriefing Hour”, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. and for live entertainment music Wednesday Friday and Saturday evenings.

The Bar at Bull and Bear Bar & Steakhouse Bull and Bear's legendary mahogany bar has been cited by The New York Times as one of the world's three greatest.

Sir Harry's  Located just off the main lobby, offers traditional club ambiance with an elegant bar and seating around checkerboard tables. Dress Attire: Smart Casual.

Cocktail Terrace  Overlooking the majestic Art Deco Park Avenue Lobby, Cocktail Terrace delights visitors Wednesday - Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with traditional afternoon tea until 5:00pm, then an engaging array of cocktails. Hear the soothing strains of Cole Porter's Steinway Grand Piano while enjoying a selection of teas accompanied with warm delicious scones, delectable finger sandwiches, and pastries. Spa

The Waldorf=Astoria will debut a truly luxury spa in late 2007. Adding to the hotels already impressive list of amenities, the spa will ensure a comprehensive luxury experience for every Waldorf guest. With an anticipated opening in November, this wonderful addition will occupy much of the 19th floor in the iconic New York landmark.
