Elegant dining at Kanu, one of Lake Placid’s celebrated restaurants, is complemented by the more casual Kanu Bistro—both emphasizing an innovative take on American cuisine. For those for whom dining is an art form, our Chef 's culinary creativity may be enjoyed at Kanu’s Exhibition Kitchen and an impressive wine selection lends itself to harmonious pairings. Accommodations
Each graciously appointed Whiteface Lodge suite is designed to conjure the sepia-tinted essence of a moment in Adirondack history. Yet, it will make you feel as if you’ve escaped to a timeless world where respite and repose are the sole concerns. In each guest room, Adirondack hardwood furnishings and hand-forged accents are accompanied by splendid amenities, from jetted tubs and pillow-top beds to cast iron gas fireplaces and LCD, high-definition televisions.

Grand Lodge Suites The resort's pièce de résistance, the Grand Lodge suites are a remarkable tribute to the "Great Camp" style exemplifying the gracious living afforded by a pairing of Adirondack style and extraordinary space. These specialty three-bedroom, three-bath accommodations feature oversized living rooms with fireplaces; spacious kitchens; a Jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the master suite; and charming four-season porches. Starting at 1920 square feet, they may accommodate eight guests with additional space for children. Grand Lodge suites feature either wonderful common views or mountain vistas.

Three-Bedroom Suites Housing six guests, three-bedroom suites afford lavish accommodations including a master suite with a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub; two guest rooms; a queen-size pull-out sofa; three baths; and a full kitchen. Three-bedroom suites start at 1558 square feet and offer a variety of wonderful views.

Two-Bedroom Suites Expansive two-bedroom suites are ideal vacation retreats for small families and well-suited for a couples’ weekend getaway, with a minimum of 1048 square feet and space enough for four to six guests. Each suite features a master bedroom, guest room, and a pull-out sofa; at least two baths; a full kitchen; a fireplace in the living room; and common, wooded, or mountain views.
One-Bedroom Suites
Junior Suite Supremely comfortable, one-bedroom suites boast a combination of Adirondack-style and overstuffed furnishings along with luxurious amenities such as jetted Jacuzzi tubs and private balconies. With a queen-size pull-out sofa, and one bath, these spacious suites provide abundant space for two and may accommodate up to four guests. Approximately 500 square feet of space, LCD TV, heated bathroom floors.
Superior Superiors offers a king bed, either wooded, partial mountain, swimming pool, or common area views and a balcony or porch. Along with 600-700 square feet or more of space, each suite includes a luxurious Jacuzzi tub as well as a full kitchen and fireplace in the living room.
Deluxe The deluxe one-bedroom suites offer a king bed, one and a half baths, and 725-975 square feet of space featuring a porch or balcony, a Jacuzzi tub, a full kitchen, and a fireplace in the living room.
