Nestled in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Westglow is a full-service European-style spa specializing in pure pampering. Our elegantly restored Greek Revival mansion, once the home of renowned artist and author Elliott Daingerfield, has been redecorated and refurbished to create the perfect venue for revitalizing your mind, body and soul.

You will find the same historic charm, the same blend of comfort and elegance and the same smiling staff, but in a beautifully renovated facility. Our Life Enrichment Center now features a new addition featuring a romantic couples massage room and a beautiful fireside lounge with spectacular mountain views.

In addition to our changes, we have created a fine dining experience that will cater to everyone at Rowland’s Restaurant. You will find a new indulgent menu including fresh seafood and prime steaks. You may also choose to dine from our healthy spa menu.

Westglow offers guests a number of choice accommodations, each styled and designed to create a restful atmosphere. The Manor House is our Greek Revival mansion, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Decorated with vintage period furnishings, the mansion features six elegantly restored suites, personal spaces that are much more than mere bedrooms, but instead quiet havens where you can forget the demands of life and focus on you, on what you want, on what you need. Situated downstairs in the manor house, our main dining room is an intimate restaurant setting where guests dine on healthy and flavorful gourmet cuisine prepared by our expert chefs.

For those seeking the solace of a more secluded atmosphere, there are quaint, cozy cottages where guests may enjoy the privacy and quiet of the wooded mountains. Our three-unit Lindal Cedar Lodge is the newest addition to our accommodations. The largest of the units has a cathedral ceiling, hardwood floors, two bedrooms, two baths, a large private deck, fireplace and deep-well Jacuzzi soaker tub. The upper level two-bedroom unit has a queen bed and double bed in the two bedrooms and houses four guests. Two one-bedroom units are located on the lower floor and like the other units have a Jacuzzi tub, fireplace and private deck area. Located across the street from Westglow and adjacent to the National Park Service boundary, the lodge also features spectacular views of Grandfather Mountain.

Styled to blend with the elegance of the manor house, the Life Enrichment Center includes state-of-the-art advanced fitness and therapeutic spa equipment. It also features an indoor pool, whirlpool, saunas, and a full-service contemporary salon where we pamper you literally from head to toe. A variety of fitness classes are offered at Westglow, and are included will all resort packages.

Westglow offers a variety of activities designed to accommodate just about any fitness style. In addition to our on-site activities such as supervised mounting hiking, croquet, and swimming, we can arrange for horseback riding, snow skiing, golfing, whitewater rafting, canoeing and more at nearby areas. We also offer tennis clinics on Tuesday and Thursday.
