The Spa at Marriott's Harbor Beach has ushered in a new level of spa luxury. Evoking a sense of the sea in its interior design, menu of spa services and extraordinary oceanfront location, the 22,000-square-foot, $8 million facility draws on the area's tropical beauty and rich natural resources to create an unparalleled experience marked by thoughtful details and signature services. Massages on the beach beneath Arabian-style cloth cabanas, key lime- and orange blossom-infused treatments and meditation and relaxation rooms are distinguishing features of the Spa, which boasts 18 private, state-of-the-art treatment rooms.
Recognizing that today's spa visitors no longer seek the "fat farm" and fitness "boot camp" experiences of yesteryear, Marriott designed the facility to mirror the contemporary spa-goer's own vision of tranquility, wellness and rejuvenation. To that end, designers created a spacious and serene sanctuary so inviting, that guests may well choose to spend their entire day within the sun-drenched space, alternating spa treatments with a workout in the fully equipped Fitness Center, lounging by the Spa Pool, sampling Florida citrus in the Relaxation Room, and mixing aromatherapy oils in the interactive Spa Boutique.
In addition to its 18 private treatment rooms (including a "couple's" treatment room), the Spa features an exclusive free-form Spa Pool overlooking the hotel's main pool and a fully equipped Fitness Center with Johnny G. Spinningª bikes and LifeFitness strength training equipment. A movement studio offers yoga, pilates and other classes. There are also a sauna, whirlpool, Eucalyptus steam rooms and private locker rooms. Fitness evaluations and one-on-one personal training are also available.
