The Chanler at Cliff Walk Hotel Resort Accommodations
All rooms and villas have flat screen TVs, wet bars, fireplaces (many of which are antique) CD players, DVD players (to play movies from the hotel’s extensive and free DVD library), and marble or granite bathrooms featuring heated floors and multi-head showers with body jets and/or rainheads as well as exquisite hand-painted and hand-glazed tile murals. Most rooms also feature skylights, Jacuzzi tubs and king or queen canopy beds with luxurious 400-thread count Fili D’oro linens. Twelve rooms have outdoor decks. Seventeen offer ocean views from the room or deck. Original oil paintings or antique prints are used throughout. All rooms include complimentary continental breakfast, complimentary wireless Internet, fruit amenity upon arrival, newspaper delivery and mineral water. Greek Revival : Sunny Room, queen sized bed, lovely ocean and garden views. Crown moulding/classical Greek architectural details. Private deck overlooking the ocean with table and chairs for dining. Limestone bath with full shower including rain head as well as regular showerhead. French Provincial : Bi-level cozy room with half-canopied carved French queen-sized bed. Cast iron stove, comfortable sitting area. Great views of ocean and beach. Large but quaint bath with corner double Jacuzzi with ocean views, separate double shower, old-world tile with wainscoting.
The Colonial : Antique colonial mantel with hand painted tiles and wide planked flooring. Great deck overlooking the ocean and lawn. Four-poster, queen-sized iron bed with full canopy and colonial print. Oversized bath with expansive barrier-free shower, skirted sink. This room is handicap accessible.
The Federal : Full canopied queen-sized iron bed with federal style valance. Large rooftop deck great for sunning. Scallop shell carvings crowning hand-painted tiled fireplace and entertainment wall. Huge granite bath with double Jacuzzi and separate shower with rain head. Hand-painted vanity. Ocean view over rooftop.
The Williamsburg : Half canopy with Chippendale carved, high queen-sized bed featuring historic Williamsburg print fabric hangings. Painted Delft tiles surrounding fireplace. Shuttered sunroom with double Jacuzzi and water view. Blue marble bath with oversized shower with multiple jets, accented in rare blue Bahia granite.
The Victorian : Ocean and garden views. Antique high-backed bed and unique carved and tiled firplace wall. Sitting area with antique Victorian furniture. Antique stained glass in bath. Four antique, beaded chandeliers throughout room and bath. Oversized Victorian styled bath has Double Jacuzzi overlooking lawns and separate, double shower with rain head.
Mediterranean Suite : Suite includes bedroom with queen- sized iron bed and large separate sitting room with large hooded fireplace; designed for one couple. Panoramic view of beach/ocean from all five windows. Arched openings & stucco walls reminiscent of Mediterranean villa. Oversized bath, double Jacuzzi, multi jetted double shower with beautiful tile mural, antique, stained glass skylight.
Gothic Suite : Very large room with antique chandelier and lanterns. Enclosed en-suite double Jacuzzi with gothic grating. Reminiscent of medieval castle, soaring ceiling with antique skylight, fauxed walls, king-sized draped Gothic styled, iron bed and great stone gothic fire surround. Large couch and overstuffed chair in sitting area. Step-down purple marble bath, multi jetted double shower, additional skylight.
Empire Suite : Warm and comfortable junior suite decorated in watermelon and antiqued green tones has silk draped half canopied queen bed. Ocean and garden views, separate sitting area, en-suite double Jacuzzi, large couch, stuffed chair, antique skylight. Oversized granite bath, huge shower with multi jetted shower, separate toilet and bidet area.
Briar Rose Garden Suite : Quaint room with front porch and huge outdoor private courtyard, perfect for entertaining friends. Queen sized bed with antique cane headboard and matching chandelier. Hand-painted Briar Rose bath fixtures. Large bath, double Jacuzzi with view of courtyard. Outdoor hottub under pergola in fountained courtyard.
English Trellis : Sweeping ocean views from large raised deck. Two full- canopied queen beds,Trellis inspired ceiling design and wetbar. Antique painted oak fire surround. Renaissance Suite : Most opulent room, often used for brides has expansive ocean views. Beautifully appointed swagged damask bedding, king-sized bed, ceiling and wall panels in blue, highlighted with gold leaf. Oversized marble bath with column surrounded sunken tub, separate shower, toilet and bidet room, double vanity, separate make-up area, three TVs. Expansive rooftop deck overlooking the ocean, great for entertaining.
Louis XVI : Opulently draped hand-finished French king-sized bed, sitting bay, great ocean and lawn views from each of four windows. Oversized deck with panoramic ocean views, southeast exposure. French oil paintings grace softly colored paneled walls and antique carved fireplace. Three crystal chandeliers. Vanilla colored marble bath with double Jacuzzi and separate multi jetted shower.
Martha's Vineyard : Our largest and most opulent of the Ocean Villas. Bi-level tumbled marble bath, hand-painted mural, antique stained glass, toilet and bidet. Sunken wet area in bath includes three showerheads, double Jacuzzi. Huge full tester canopied, king-sized four-poster bed. Carved fireplace wall, ceiling beams and chandelier, antique chestnut flooring with large antique Persian rug. Sensational ocean and beach views from elevated deck and thru shuttered garden walls surrounding courtyard. Private hottub & sauna.
Nantucket : Nautically inspired room has antique pine flooring, ship’s lathe paneling and wooden ceiling. King-sized four-poster, half-canopied pine bed hung with a beautiful toile fabric. Hand painted delft tiles surround the custom entertainment wall. Large hand glazed tile bath, huge double multi jetted shower and double Jacuzzi with surrounding mural. The best ocean views in the hotel from elevated deck and thru shuttered courtyard openings. Private covered hottub and sauna.
Block Island : Center Ocean Villa has great views from raised deck and through shuttered openings in courtyard walls. Cozy room in golden and soft green hues has antique pine flooring, half-canopied Queen sleigh bed, beaded board wainscoting and wood ceiling. Antique sconces light the custom built entertainment wall. Oversized bath, double Jacuzzi with hand painted beach mural and separate double shower. Private hottub and sauna in fountained courtyard.
