Located along the pristine shores of Kiawah Island, South Carolina, this exquisitely designed luxurious oceanfront hotel, just thirty minutes from downtown Charleston, captures the spirit, history and charm of the beautiful south. Executive Suites Presidential Suite The bedroom inside the Presidential Suite features a custom four-poster king bed, sitting area, entertainment center with television, sound system and is separated from the living area by a set of French doors that open to a 40 sq. ft. balcony which overlooks the ocean and grand lawn below. Adjacent dressing area features two walk-in closets with a dressing table. The bathroom features two separate marble topped vanities, a large garden tub with jets, large separate shower with multiple showerheads, and a separate water closet. This suite can connect to a guestroom containing two queen beds. Governor's Suite The dining area includes a traditional table that accommodates eight people and an antique sideboard, over which hangs an original Douglas Williams painting. Private dinners can be served from the adjacent butler’s pantry that contains a full size refrigerator. Both living and dining areas are connected to a 177 square-foot balcony where one can view the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean, Turtle Point Golf Course and Kiawah’s private pristine beach. Elegant French doors separate the bedroom from the living room. The bedroom features a custom-made bed, large walk-in closet with safe, a television armoire with DVD player, and a bedside clock with CD player. The bedroom also has a separate 40 sq. ft. balcony to enjoy the stunning sunrise views. The main bathroom is separated from the bedroom by French doors and features separate marble-topped vanities, an enclosed water closet, a separate shower with a rain shower showerhead, and deep Jacuzzi tub. The suite can connect to a guestroom containing two queen beds and bathroom, allowing six to sleep comfortably. The intimate living room contains a writing desk, seating area with two sofas, and a television armoire. The 256 square-foot balcony, located directly off the living area, offers breathtaking views of the Grand Lawn and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Pocket doors separate the bedroom from the living area. The bedroom is furnished with two queen beds, a flat-screen plasma television, a walk-in closet and a private bathroom and garden Jacuzzi. Shutters above the garden bathtub can be opened to the bedroom for a view of the television from the tub and allowing natural light to stream in. Bathroom also features dual vanities, enclosed water closet and shower and rainshower showerhead. Suite connects to a guestroom with a king sized bed. Ocean Front Suite The living area features a flat-screen plasma television, elegant furnishings including a sleeper sofa and private 98 square-foot oceanfront balcony with spectacular views of the beach below. The main bathroom is separated from the bedroom by French doors, and features separate marble-topped vanities, and enclosed water closet, a separate shower with rainshower showerhead, and a deep Jacuzzi tub. Suites can be connected to two separate guest rooms, one containing a king bed and the other featuring two queen beds. This offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for eight. Garden View Suite Living room contains an elegant seating area with a sleeper sofa and flat screen plasma television. The adjacent dining area features a table that comfortably seats four people. Sleeping area contains custom-made King sized Omaha bedding with fine linen, a television armoire with DVD player and a writing desk. The bedside clock contains a CD player. Bathroom is separated from the sleeping area by French doors and shutters above the garden bathtub allowing natural light to stream in. This room features dual vanities, an enclosed water closet, and a separate shower with Rainshower showerhead. All areas of the suite connect to a spacious balcony with views of The Sanctuary's grand oak trees and maritime forest. (660 sq. ft. of the 4th floor suite and 177 sq. ft. balcony off of the 5th floor suite) These Suites can connect to a guestroom containing two Queen beds. The Club Lounge offers a spacious and relaxing retreat for guests to enjoy continental breakfast, a mid-day snack, cocktails and hors d oeuvres, and evening cordials and chocolates. The Club Lounge is restricted to registered Club guests only (two per guestroom).
Ocean Room The Ocean Room has received once again Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence 2007". Luxurious oceanfront dining awaits our guests, as they experience seasonally inspired and continuously evolving meals consisting of fish, vegetarian, shellfish, red meats, pork and game masterfully prepared by Chef Ives and his team. In addition to the ever-changing a la carte menu, Chef Ives also designs a five course "Tasting Menu" on a monthly basis. The Ocean Room offers two private rooms that seat up to 18 guests comfortably. One of the rooms overlooks the greens and the ocean, the other called the "Wine Room", with walnut floors and mahogany wine racks filled with intellectual delights.
Jasmine Porch Jasmine Porch features the island’s grand buffet breakfast, which includes made-to-order omelets, hot breakfast specialties, fresh pastries, fruits and cereals. Clubhouse Dining The Atlantic Room The Atlantic Room also provides an intimate private dining room adjacent to the main dining room. A spacious veranda with two fireplaces is just steps from the ocean and provides the perfect setting for post-round celebrations.
