Fair Park hosts a huge variety of annual public events, including the biggest State Fair in the nation, the Dallas Summer Musicals and the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic football game.
Dallas is great fun for families too! There are numerous fun family options to choose from, like Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor which is right next to each other. The tallest and hottest, most thrilling ride in the world, the Superman Tower of Power which rockets riders way up in the sky then turbo powers them back down again is awaiting the adventures.
The SpeedZone Dallas is a great place to try your hand driving a real dragster or racing around the track, plus there's a 36 hole golf course for the golfer's to enjoy.
Dallas is probably the last place you expect to find a wonderful aquarium, but you'll be pleasantly surprised to discover the aquatic life from four continents displayed. There are manatees, monkeys, penguins, piranhas, exotic plants and creatures from the South American Rain Forests and Zoological Gardens.
