January 1st, 1997 was a very exciting day for us as we purchased Lake Austin Spa Resort. We knew that we had found a very special destination, with its centerpiece a beautiful, secluded lake and hill country hideaway.

Over the years, we have dedicated ourselves to developing facilities that speak to the part in each of us that loves beauty and comfort, while maintaining the casual atmosphere that we are known for.

Our dedicated staff and you, our valued guests, have helped us to become the ultimate destination spa – a unique, comfortable showcase for nature and its inhabitants. We hope you enjoy your visit to Lake Austin Spa Resort as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you.

Refined simplicity is at the heart of the Lake Austin Spa Resort experience. Casual elegance and a nurturing staff welcome you with the warmth of a best friend's lake house, helping you feel at ease the moment you arrive.

Whether you choose to dine with other guests or spend some time savoring each bit alone, we have several dining options for you to choose from at Lake Austin Spa Resort. Our dining room offers a Friendship Table as well, where guests who are traveling alone have the opportunity to connect with others and often make lifelong friends. Or enjoy some time to yourself as you dine, either in our main dining area or in the privacy of your guestroom. Room service is available throughout the day at Lake Austin Spa Resort.

We can accommodate most dietary restrictions including vegan, gluten-free, low or no sugar and food allergies. Please contact us in advance if you have special dietary needs so that we can be sure to prepare for your visit.

Fat grams and calories are listed next to each item for guests wishing to monitor their caloric intake. Many of the items on our menu can be found in one of our cookbooks, available for purchase online or at the resort.

Resort Dining
The healthy cuisine at Lake Austin Spa Resort gets rave reviews from guests and the media alike. Executive chef Terry Conlan has developed lunch and dinner menus that change seasonally, and each offers a wonderful variety of daily specials. Our five course dinner options come complete with a healthy, gourmet dessert.

The resort dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The beverage bar is available 24-hours a day.

Room Service
A selection of room service options can be found in your room for guests wanting to spend a little extra time in the comforts of our lakeside accommodations.

Room service is available throughout the day.

Aster Café
The elegant Aster Café at the LakeHouse Spa offers a gourmet lunch menu designed by executive chef Terry Conlan The Aster Café welcomes guests who are dining alone or with friends – for those hoping to meet some new friends, enjoy open seating at the Friendship Table.

The Aster Café is open daily for lunch from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. – the beverage bar at the Aster Café may be enjoyed all day during regular LakeHouse Spa hours. All LakeHouse Spa day packages include lunch. For day spa guests enjoying á la carte spa treatments, lunch may be purchased separately.

The LakeHouse Spa at Lake Austin Spa Resort is rich with amenities. Guests of the LakeHouse Spa may enjoy:

• An indulgent spa menu offering more than 100 treatments and services
• Over 25 treatment locations including couple's suites, outdoor treatment cabanas, a screened-in Treatment Porch and the private Bamboo Room Separate men's and women's locker rooms, each offering a hot tub, sauna, steam room and showers
• Elegant lounges that open onto private outdoor stone-walled gardens, Balinese water features and a private sunning area
• The magnificent Blue Room, a relaxing waiting area for guests prior to their spa treatments
• The Aster Café, serving gourmet lunches and a beverage bar with flavored teas, water and fresh fruit
• The Palm Pool and the Pool Barn which houses a Jr. Olympic-size pool
