Blue Cactus serves slow mesquite-smoked BBQ and Texas Comfort Food made from scratch. We are also proud to have live music every weekend inside or on the Texas Patio, playing host to a variety of San Antonio and South Texas' best live music acts.

Bun n' Barrel barbecue is cooked in two fifty-five-year-old firebrick pits using aged Texas Hill Country oak. They've been doing authentic Texas-style barbecue for more than 55 years. Check out their daily specials or stop by for a barbecue plate, burger or a sandwich.

Grady's Bar-B-Q has been serving true Texas-style barbecue since 1948. They still slow smoke meats using Hill Country oak just like they did the in 1940s.

Rudy's serves some of the best bar-b-q in South Texas. Their pits are 100% wood fired with oak, and meats are cooked in a dry spice, not in Rudy's unique "Sause" which is served on the side and shipped throughout the United States.

Specht's Store is a 117-year-old general store turned restaurant. Live music flows every night along with cold beer and great Texas homecooking.

Texas Pride Barbecue, located on the east side of 1604 is known for its barbecue, fish, fries, and country music.  Steeped in the finest quality mesquite barbecue tradition of his grandfather, Tony Talanco has developed a 1940's country store gas station to create a nostalgic family friendly real Texas Barbecue Joint.
