Deer Valley Ski Vacations and Luxury Travel Packages

Super deluxe and quite special, Deer Valley Resort is a world-class resort focused on personal service. Little details like uniformed "ski valets" to care for your gear and attended ski storage are unique to Deer Valley Resort. In addition to gracious pampering, the skiing is not to be denied. It is spectacular: 1,825 groomed acres on four mountains laid out in 91 runs that follow the natural contours of the rolling landscape. Skiing feels effortless here, or perhaps, all that pampering has worked its wonders. There are plenty of long mogul runs and six bowls with endless tree skiing for the most demanding expert, while the rest of us can enjoy blissful cruising forever.
Don't Miss: Skiing with Olympic legend Stein Eriksen. You can request a private two-hour mountain tour ($800) through the resort.
New This Year: A high-speed quad replaces the Sterling triple lift for quicker conveyance between the midmountain lodge and the summit.
If it's refinement you're after, Deer Valley delivers. Since opening in 1981, its mountains have set a new standard in the U.S. for immaculate grooming and attentive service. The ski area, 1,825 acres in the Wasatch Range (easily accessible from Salt Lake City), are pitched to boost your ego. A fleet of snowcats smooths nearly 60 percent of the resort's 91 trails nightly; in the morning you step into your skis and carve fresh tracks on a silken carpet of snow. Ski hosts guide small groups, divided by ability, on free ski tours daily, and if you're lucky you might even spy Stein Eriksen, Deer Valley's director of skiing. At the end of the day, return to heated sidewalks and complimentary valets to whisk away your skis.
