Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrive in Anchorage and transfer to Hotel Alyeska, stopping en route at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.
DAY 2: The staff of the Alaska Conservation Foundation invites you to a private discussion of current Alaskan conservation issues. Then take a scenic helicopter flight over the ice fields of the Chugach mountain range and journey to a remote dog sled camp.
DAY 3: A private cruise takes you into Prince William Sound for glacier and wildlife viewing in the College Fjord.
DAY 4:
Fly over Prince William Sound and into the Wrangell-St. Elias Mountains and continue to the remote, yet relatively luxurious, Ultima Thule Lodge.
DAYS 5-6: Sky trek over the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and continue by plane to the Circle Hot Springs, then visit the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for a unique opportunity to witness the wildlife and landscapes on the brink of permanent change.
DAYS 7-9: Explore more of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge before making your way to Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge, a rustic and remote lodge set in the pristine wilderness of Alaska's Far North, 60 miles above the Arctic Circle. Spend your time here fishing, hiking or rafting this true Alaska backcountry; in the summer, experience 24 hours of daylight.
DAY 10: Fly to Fairbanks for your homebound flight.
