Departs: High season is January though March. November, May and June are also great times. DAYS 1 & 2 Arusha, Tanzania You fly into Arusha, Tanzania. After passing through Immigrations and Customs, meet your driver in Arrivals. He will transfer you to your hotel. Moivaro Coffee Plantation, the lodge where you will find a charming atmosphere together with every comfort, an ideal spot to enjoy the impressive flora and fauna of East Africa. Your second day starts with an early breakfast before meeting your guide. You have a private full day tour of nearby Arusha National Park. This tour with a fully qualified ranger is informative and fun as you get your safari “feet wet”. It includes a picnic in the park for lunch. Moivaro Coffee Plantation Includes: Breakfast & dinner DAYS 3 & 4 Tarangire National Park, Tanzania Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast. You have a scenic three hour drive to Tarangire National Park where you stay at Kikoti Safari Camp. On a ridge overlooking Tarangire National Park, seasonal home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, Kikoti Safari Camp is a haven fit for the most discerning traveler. Kikoti Safari Camp Includes: All meals & safari activities DAYS 5 & 6 Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania Today you continue on with your guide to the Ngorongoro Crater. This three hour drive into the crater highlands ends at your lodge. After checking in, you can spend the afternoon exploring the area on a game drive. Often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best known wildlife arenas. The Serena Ngorongoro Crater Safari Lodge is perched on the jagged rim of the crater, wreathed in morning mist, camouflaged in river stone and cloaked in indigenous creepers. Ngorongoro Serena Lodge Includes: All meals DAYS 7 & 8 Serengeti National Park, Tanzania After two fantastic days visiting the crater, you drive with your guide to Serengeti National Park. This three hour drive heads right past Olduvai Gorge (AKA the Cradle of Mankind). If you like, your guide will be happy to stop so you can explore. When you arrive in the park, you head to your camp. Sayari Camp delivers miles of breathtaking Serengeti nature in all directions along with creature comforts right in the bush. This small fifteen tent camp has spacious accommodations, fine cuisine, and personal service. Sayari Camp Includes: All meals, drinks (except premiums), laundry & safari activities DAYS 9 & 10 Serengeti National Park, Tanzania You drive with your guide further northeast today to your final camp, Klein’s. You say goodbye to your guide at this point as the well qualified Klein’s Camp guides take over. On the northeastern border of Serengeti National Park is a 10,000 hectare private concession. Here, perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, affording breathtaking views is Kleins Camp. Ten intimate cottages of local rock and thatch each have en-suite shower, twin hand basins and water closet. Kleins Camp Includes: All meals, drinks (except premiums), laundry & safari activities DAY 11 Depart After a final safari activity you will transfer to the Seronera Airstrip to meet your scheduled flight back to Arusha. When you land, meet your driver in Arrivals. You will transfer to a lodge for day room use. After an afternoon spent freshening up, your driver will return you to the Airport to meet your departure flight.
