Himachal Pradesh

The State of Himachal Pradesh is in the Himalayas in Northern India and is a scenic wonder, with incredible attractions. Hydroelectric plants, tourist attractions and rural agriculture are the main income sources here. The mountains reach as high as 22,900 feet. The glaciers and snow runoff provide India with its water and rivers.

There is a very rich culture here with numerous festivals and annual attractions. The people in this state are known for their handicrafts and carpets and fine art.
