The ancient city of Ayutthaya,or Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, The Thai capital for 417 years, is one of Thailand’s major tourist attractions. Ancient Palace: The palace was original built King U- Thong in the 14 th century, and was expanded over the years. These pavilions were completely destroyed in 1767 , leaving only brick foundation ,porticos and walls. The Tri Muk Building was rebuilt in its original style during the reign of King Chulalongkorn in 1907.
