Set high within the northeast mountains of Vietnam, the hamlet of Sa Pa offers spectacular views. Gorgeous, jagged mountain ridges, rice paddy terraces and sensational green valleys inhabited by those of various groups of minorities- fantastically, all of whom congregate in Sapa’s colorful market.
Each group has its very own distinctive style of dress. From early childhood girls learn various skills which include growing and weaving hemp, to dying cloth with indigo, sewing family member’s clothes, and decorating items with beautiful traditional embroidery motifs.
