Take an evening cruise through Budapest, enjoy an exclusive apple-strudel making demonstration in Vienna, visit the world’s oldest monastery brewery at Weltenburg Abbey and tour romantic Landshut. Day 1: ARRIVE IN BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
Arrive in historic Budapest, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. This evening, join your fellow guests and A&K Tour Director for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: BUDAPEST / Evening Cruise Through Budapest
Visit a grand Baroque castle and its lovely botanical gardens in Gallo. After lunch, transfer to modern, stylish ,˜Amadeus Brilliant,,™ moored in Budapest, for priority embarkation. Share a welcome cocktail prior to dinner. This evening, cruise through Budapest, passing under the illuminated Chain Bridge, which links Buda with Pest, for magnificent floodlit views of the city. Later, hear a lively gypsy band perform on board.

Day 3: BUDAPEST / Discovering Two Cities in One
Visit Buda, with its cobbled streets and medieval architecture, and Pest, with its wide avenues and 19th-century buildings. After lunch on board, you may choose an optional excursion to charming Szentendre.

Day 4: BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA & VIENNA, AUSTRIA
Arrive in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava today. Visit its attractive old quarter and view St. Martin’s Cathedral and Grassalkovich Palace. Back on board, enjoy a private pre-dinner cocktail party. Arrive in Vienna for an optional excursion to view the city from a nearby mountain.

Day 5: VIENNA / An A&K Exclusive Experience
Drive the Ringstrasse to view St. Stephan’s Cathedral and then return to the ship for lunch. Make an Onshore Connection when you experience a mouth-watering apple strudel making demonstration and taste a sample an A&K exclusive at Schonbrunn Palace. Attend a Sound of Vienna, concert (Category A seating) in the splendid Kursalon, where Johann Strauss the younger directed his orchestra.

Day 6: MELK/EMMERSDORF / Optional Wine Excursion
Enjoy a scenic cruise this morning. At mid-day, disembark in Melk/Emmersdorf for an optional excursion into the Wachau District that includes a tour of its 900-year-old Benedictine abbey and a wine tasting.

Day 7: LINZ, SALZBURG & PASSAU / Bavarian Towns
Your choice of optional excursions today: enjoy walking tours in Linz and Passau or a full-day excursion to Salzburg that includes the lovely Salzkammergut region. Tonight, the captain welcomes you to a gala dinner aboard ship.

Day 8: REGENSBURG & KELHEIM / World’s Oldest Monastery Brewery
Arrive in Regensburg, one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval cities, for an optional walking tour of the city. After lunch aboard ship, take an excursion to Weltenburg Abbey and taste the flavorful dark beer brewed here, in the world’s oldest monastery brewery. Reboard the ship in Kelheim.

Day 9: NUREMBERG & MUNICH / Romantic Landshut
After breakfast, disembark in Nuremberg. Drive to 800-year-old Landshut for a guided tour of the town that includes Basilica St. Martin and the Stadresidenz, a 16th-century palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to your hotel in Munich. Tonight, gather for a farewell dinner.

Today, transfer to Munich airport for your flight.
