Stravenger is a big city on the southeast coast of Norway. This city has grown because of the huge oil industry in the North Sea. This is an important tourism area with hiking and outdoor recreation around Lysefjorden and Prekestolen, called, “The Pulpit Rock” overlooking the fjord.
Skiing and snowboarding are popular in the winter, and beaches are the attraction in the summers. In the city there are numerous historical attractions and festivals, music venues, museums, cathedrals and other important landmarks. Bring your camera; this is a very scenic region of Norway.
