The Experience

Mandarin Oriental, Paris

Located at the centre of everything you need for a true Parisian experience; style, art, history and gourmet dining.  Our address on rue Saint-Honore is home to the most exclusive fashion houses, where Parisians shop in style. At the top of Saint-Honoré is the Place Vendôme, a handsome octagonal plaza with glamorous jewellers surrounding a Napoleonic monument.  At the other end are the elegant Tuileries gardens, where Parisians meet and relax.

Stay at the most desirable address in Paris, surrounded by chic, contemporary French design. Interiors are amongst the most spacious in the capital and combine Parisian sophistication with art deco details and oriental touches. The Asian aesthetic amplifies the fresh open feel giving you space to breathe in a city so visually rich.  The hotel features 99 luxurious rooms and 39 suites offering our guests an exclusive and eminently stylish Parisian experience.  We have eight Duplex Suites providing a sense of private designer apartments on rue Saint-Honoré. Suites can connect to adjacent rooms offering travelling parties two or three bedroom combinations.  One of the largest and most luxurious suites in Paris will be our double height Presidential Suite, with private dining, terraces and a spectacular view over the city from this highly exclusive address.

Thierry Marx, the renowned two-star Michelin chef, has been appointed as Culinary Director for Mandarin Oriental, Paris.  Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx is an all encompassing experience. The stylised interior of our restaurant is a blank canvas for his provocative cuisine. Every detail feeds the inextricable link between the technical and the emotional, not just in the construction of each dish but in sight, sound and taste.  The all-day dining cafe Camelia offers traditional French regional dishes prepared with Thierry Marx’ own unpredictable individuality. Here guests can enjoy an express lunch or on more social occasions, linger between courses.  At our Asian counter, we serve favourite dishes from the East that are a speciality of Mandarin Oriental.  Our bar has an exhilarating design and throughout the evening we will serve exciting cocktails, small plates of delicacies and plenty of sophistication.  Light spills throughout our hotel and the peaceful courtyard illuminates the fine dining restaurant.  The Cafe and Bar also open out onto the courtyard, where guests can enjoy a fashionable lunch, supper or drinks.

The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop is a perfect spot for an afternoon indulgence. Overseen by executive chef Thierry Marx, the Cake Shop offers traditional French pastries in a casual yet elegant setting. Guests can choose to enjoy their delicacy with a perfectly brewed pot of tea, or have the treats beautifully packaged to take away.

Superbly located to enjoy high fashion and cultural experiences, our hotel is your home for stylish leisure time, where we offer aesthetic spaces to soothe and calm the mind. Our courtyard is a peaceful oasis just steps away from the fashionable Parisian streets, providing an elegant glimpse of Parisian life.  Our 15 metre pool is beautifully designed with artistic projections on the ceiling and an exquisite collage on the mosaic floor. Five alcoves along the pool walls, invite guests to relax in peace and privacy. The adjacent fitness centre offers the most advanced equipment, and personal trainers will guide you through a healthy regime.  Younger Fans are thoughtfully cared for.
