Le Sereno is an intimate family-owned and -operated hotel offering only 36 suites in addition to 3 large four-bedroom villas. Located on the beach at Grand Cul de Sac and spanning 600 feet of pristine shoreline, Le Sereno is one of only a handful of hotels on the island that can claim a beachfront location (in this case, a virtually private beach). Designed to invoke the spirit of St. Barth, Le Sereno reflects the vision and aesthetic sensibility of renowned French designer Christian Liaigre. One of the most recognized names in design today, Mr. Liaigre’s work in architecture and interior and furniture design has made him the favorite of a select group of clients and according to the Financial Times “possibly the most important – certainly the most copied – designer of our time.” Liaigre’s past projects include private residences for Rupert Murdoch, Kenzo Takada, Calvin Klein, Adolfo Dominguez and Karl Lagerfeld as well as hotels and restaurants including Market and Hotel Montalembert in Paris, Troisgros in Roanne, Busaba in London, and Buddakahn and the Mercer Hotel in New York.

Spa

Guests are invited to a world of serenity and laid-back luxury at The Spa at Le Sereno and we are proud to offer a spa experience that is authentically St. Barth. In that regard, we feature an extensive menu of facials, body wraps and massages exclusively using Ligne St. Barth products and techniques. Made on the island from natural ingredients, Ligne St. Barth products are crafted from extracts of native Caribbean fruits and flowers in addition to oils from the rare roucou seed, which has melanin-enhancing properties.

The purity of these ingredients combined with the treatment science developed locally has helped Ligne St. Barth earn legions of fans around the world.

As important as the products and techniques we use, the setting Le Sereno provides is unmatched. The Spa seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces to create a Caribbean oasis for the senses and its waterfront treatment pavilion only one of its kind on the island. Even more, the Spa’s couples’ suite includes “his and hers” showers that are completely secluded and surrounded by bougainvillea and lush tropical foliage for an ultra-private experience.
