Stinson Beach

Stinson Beach in a little coastal village in Marin County, California on the Pacific Coast Highway just 19 1/2 mile from San Francisco. Stinson Beach is a beach colony and surf spot frequented by people from Marin and San Francisco. The actual beach is about 3 and a half mile long, the surf is usually small, leaving it a safe beach for children.

Muir Woods, a world renowned grove of redwoods is on the way, however it is very busy. If you arrive after 10:00 it is hard to find a parking place. It is a fantastic stroll and well paved for handicapped individuals. This is a don’t miss arrtaction!

Stinson Beach has easy access to miles of terrific hiking and biking trails and is close to Bolinas, a quaint little village just north of Stinson Beach. All in all, Stinson Beach is a good place to spend a relaxing day at the beach.
