"Fabulous" sums up the service experience I had with Lydia Fiandeiro and Travel Wizard!

When first scheduling our trip to Hawaii (the Big Island and Kauai), Lydia worked with me to keep our trip within our budget, yet still provided beautiful accommodations and fun excursions. We had a few flight changes between the time we booked the trip until we flew out, and Lydia promptly notified me of each change, not only by forwarding the updated itinerary, but by summarizing the changes in the email. We had one incident with the hotel, but I simply called Lydia and she resolved the entire matter within a few hours.

I had unexpectedly lost my father two weeks before we left for Hawaii, so knowing Lydia was there to handle any problems gave me the time I needed to relax and be taken care of.

Travel Wizard and Lydia get an A+ from us! We have shared our great Travel Wizard experience with our friends and I look forward to working with Lydia again in the future...Alaska or bust!

Anyway, Atlantis was a lot of fun and 5 nights stay was way too short. It’s like World Disney but a water park. There’s always something to keep us busy and our timing was great too. Not a lot of people so definitely no line up and we always get the best spot. I want to thank you for the package that you sent us, it was very useful. It kept me organized during our trip.

My boyfriend and I are looking forward to our next vacation, hopefully next summer. I will definitely be contacting you once I find out where we want to go.

You did great!   We were singing your praises after checking in at each resort.   I usually don't like the big hotel/resorts, but the Grand Hyatt Kuaui was fantastic.   The 2 room connection was perfect, and the facility was spread out and beautiful, unlike the typical high-rise.   Mauna Lani Point was also beautiful.   I miss waking my eyes each morning to the sight of golf course, lava rock, ocean!   The private beach there was perfect.   Back to reality -

Hello Nancy,

We will DEFINITELY refer you to our friends! Our trip was absolutely wonderful. It could not have been better. You did a wonderful job taking care of every little detail - it was so nice to have all of our booking/itinerary information all in one packet - we guarded that thing with our lives! (Not that one worries about that kind of thing in Tahiti - everyone is so nice and laid back!)? We really enjoyed the Intercontinental Thalasso. The overwater bungalows were spectacular. We loved our activities on both islands - it was the perfect mix of rest and play.

Some of our favorite things: Shark/Ray tour, snorkeling, dolphin adventure, peanut-ice cream at the "Sands" restaurant at Thalasso hotel (SOOOO GOOD!), jet ski tour, meeting other honeymooners, filling up on the buffet at Sofitel...yum!

Some things we did not like:? Dinner at the "fancy" restaurant at the Intercontinental Thalasso (I ordered lobster, the most expensive thing on the menu, and for one, it did not taste good...AND there were only 4 bites!? I left extremely hungry and we ended up having to order room service later on...not good!).? Also, dinner at Bloody Mary's was fun, but the food stunk (exactly as you warned!) :) The only other thing we did not like (AT ALLLL!!!) was the Tiki Village Theater dinner/show. It was quite strange, to say the least, and lasted WAY too long! By the end, Corey would have rather shot a hole in his foot that see another "hula" dance. It was great for the first hour, but by the 3-4 hour mark, we felt stranded.? I'd definitely warn people about it....we would never ever do it again.

Random things to tell people: Don't forget to bring your own personal shampoo/conditioner. I accidentally left mine at home. Although the hotels do provide them, they look/feel like coconut milk - I had sticky, greasy hair much of the time! Also, bring extra memory cards for your camera. We had one with plenty of memory, but it was defective...so we had to have a driver take us to a random electronics store in Moorea. Thank goodness, they had the card we needed...it only cost a small fortune though! Lastly, please let people know to bring a bag of "emergency" medications/bandages, etc. The pharmacy is the only place to get meds if you need them - even over-the-counter pain killers.? I needed one of my medication's while I was there and had to have my doctor from the States fax a prescription to the pharmacy in Bora Bora! It was quite a fiasco, but all ended well and we only lost 1/2 a day of fun. We were sooo pleased with the hotel service through it all...they took VERY good care of me (even asked how I was feeling the next day!) and made all of the arrangements. They even sent a hotel employee to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription and bring it back to our room. They were sooooo wonderful.? Service at that hotel is outstanding.

So Nancy, all in all, aside from very minor issues, our trip was just fantastic. We will remember it always - and we have lots of pictures to look back on! Thanks for all of your assistance - we appreciate it!

REVIEW of Resort:

The Four Seasons has customer service down. We had champagne in our room each evening. We had flowers is a heart on our bed one evening. It was great!
The staff was plentiful and conscientious, friendly and interested in
meeting and talking with us. The property was beautiful, quiet, and well laid out. Weather was Chamber of Commerce, the water unbelievable. If there was one thing we were not crazy about, it would have been some of the restaurant fare. Most was good. Some was not to our tastes.

All in all a memorable trip!!!

We got back today, and thank you for such an awesome vacation! We loved Sydney (beautiful harbor!). Our favorite Melbourne experience was The Little Penguins - amazing! (Our least favorite part of Melbourne was the flies!) And the Langham in Melbourne was a GORGEOUS hotel! Probably the highlight of the vacation was snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. Beautiful!

Everything went VERY smoothly; our coaches were all there when they were supposed to be. The sightseeing tours were wonderful! No worries! (See, I'm talking like an Australian!) Thanks, Lidia. We had a great trip. No snags. Thank you for arranging it so well. Only disappointment of the trip was Robin had her ipod stolen at the Pearl Resort in Moorea. The property there was beautiful, but the service was poor. We found Moorea over-touristed, but really loved the rest. Our highlights were the week long yatch trip and the Kia Ora in Rangiroa. We had a great time on our trip. The tour guide was exceptional.

We loved Sydney (The Sofitel was a fabulous hotel - - all of the hotels
except Alice Springs were excellent). Enjoyed Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef. The trip up to Kuranda was great - - the train ride down was unspectacular (I guess we are spoiled). Ayers Rock was spectacular (it was only 80 degrees instead of the usual 100 degrees) , as was the ride to Alice Springs. We saw kangaroos while on the Ghan train. Adelaide and Melbourne were both very nice.

On to NZ - the south island was amazing. Everything
in the south island is breathtaking - - our two special highlights were 1) the Shotover Jet boat ride in Queenstown and 2) we took a small plane back from Milford Sound (the snow capped mountains and waterfalls were unforgettable - - the plane was worth the price of $270 per person). There was not a cloud in the sky the day we were in Milford Sound (two days before it had rained nine inches and a few days before that there was an avalanche). The only days that it rained on the trip were the last two days in the North island. I am glad the trip wasn't any longer - - we were out of gas.

All in all I believe it was the best trip we have ever taken.  Thanks for everything you did to make the trip memorable and hassle free (all plane connections and hotel transfers were perfect).

Dear Patricia,

Our trip went smoothly in every regard -- even the airlines behaved themselves and flights ran on time. (I heard somewhere that Hawaiian Airlines has a terrific record in this regard...?) And of course the Grand Hyatt is, as I kept saying to my husband, "impossibly beautiful." We walked the grounds every night around sunset and I had a couple of treatments at the Amara Spa there -- both of which were fabulous! We
loved the exercise room, the bountiful breakfast buffet -- which always eliminated the need for lunch -- and the other restaurants as well. The only tough part was finding vegetarian fare for dinner. Usually
vegetarians do well with Italian food, but Dondera's had NO vegetarian items on the entree menu. They were, as everyone was, very accommodating and helped up cobble together wonderful dinners without the meat or fish. I've always been surprised that Hawaii has so little to offer vegetarians. It was certainly so on our first trips there, but those were years ago and I thought that perhaps, post Hurricane Iniki, that
things had changed. It was actually MORE difficult this time to find vegetarian dinners. Oh, well... It's a small thing. But I think that perhaps someone like you has a stronger "voice" with these resorts and perhaps you could make a case for catering a bit more to folks who don't eat meat or fish...MANY thanks again, Patricia, for all you did to make our vacation so blissful and "snag-free"...

We had a fabulous time - thanks so very much. Loved all the places (locations perfect; luxury - amazing). Found Thala Beach lovely and accommodating (except left a bunch of stuff there and they mailed it to next hotel regular mail so it didn't get there; and would recommend that people take the dinner/bkfast package -- and that they offer a breakfast package). Found the resort eating prices a bit over the top! But they upgraded our room and the views were gorgeous. And we enjoyed rain forest and kayaking and snorkeling etc.

Thanks so much. Loved Sydney (you were right); had fun in Melbourne and would recommend only suggesting a beach day/Snorkel be saved or added there (it was 94 degrees one day -- hotter than any other spot! By evening had dropped to 57 - largest one day drop I've ever experienced.) Saw a play in Sydney; did all the art museums, and basically had a blast.

Thanks so much, Nancy. We credit you with how smoothly everything went. (Thanksgiving travel was GREAT - no one in airport -- except when we got to baggage claim at JFK: so few people were working that they took nearly an hour to get the baggage out.) But light traffic home balanced it all out.

The trip was awsome! We had so much fun! The weather was really good. We want to go back, one week went so fast. We thought we would see if you could get us some info on renting a condo there and is it much cheaper? The hotel was awesome, no complaints, staff was friendly and we got our room upgraded to a suite! The hotel was clean and nicely renovated. Rick was really nice and down to earth! We would highly recomend him. We had the week of our dreams! All thanks to you. We are having a problem with the photos though. We bought the copyrights from the photographer and brought home the photos on a disc, because they were so nice and so many to choose from. But the disc is a dvd not a cd and we cant get them on the computer or the dvd player. So I have a friend that is going to see if she knows how to get them. She's a little beter on computers than me. If she cant I will call him and see what he says. We paid him a lot of money for this disc of photos so hopefully we can figure it out. So thanks so much for the awsome job you did planning out wedding/vacation. We will highly recommend you when we get the chance. Thanks again!

We really lucked out with the Travellodge in Sydney, though. It was right around the corner from the main Sydney bridge club. As you know, we are avid bridge players and it was nice to have a game so close by.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and were always cleaned very well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that goes to Maui. It was so convenient to every thing we visited. Our most favorite tour was the Road to Hana. We had a tour guide from Hana that had been doing these tours for 39 years. She was awesome. She was related to everyone in Hana so we got to meet a lot of her cousins and hear many wonderful stories about going up in Hana. It was a trip of a life time. Sure wish I could live there. Sorry it’s taken us so long to get back to you! We’ve been EXTREMELY busy since our return. Maui was very nice. I much prefer Oahu, though. Kaanapali and surrounding areas just seemed very flat and the beaches were not great. The Old Lahaina Luau was FANTASTIC. We both absolutely loved it!

Also, a great sushi restaurant we found was Sansei, a few minutes from the Hyatt. Wonderful food and great atmosphere.

Anyway, I meant to send you a thank you but have been so busy I haven’t had even a minute. You were a tremendous help!

So thank you so much! We will definitely recommend you to our friends and will use you in the future.

Hi Michael!

I hope Belize was great! Did you go to Ambergris Caye? I've seen pictures and it looks gorgeous!

Anyway, it was the best vacation I've ever been on! Dubai was fantastic (I'm so glad we were at the Ritz C) and Oman was really special. We had enough time to relax but we saw everything we could so the pace was great, and the service was better than first class everywhere we went. We loved it that we had our own driver and car and had individual attention. And, we were wisked through the airport like celebrities! That was one of the highlights - we loved not having to stand in a single airport line! It was great!

SO, thank you very much! You did a great job! And Arabian Adventures was fabulous, too! Zahara would get a 10 out of 10 if the guy in the hotel office was better, but their tours were terrific.

Now we are trying to figure out what's next :-) Any ideas for great, adventurous and first-class travel? What's "hot" now (like Dubai is)? If any great ideas pass over your desk, please pass them on! And also let us know about the refund for Salalah. Thanks!

Thank You so much for helping us with this trip. You were "bulls eye" with recommending the resort you did in Virgin Gorda! It was perfect!   The best part of the entire trip was Virgin Gorda.

In Antigua, we stayed at Sandals resort the entire time, and didn’t venture off the property, except for one full day cruise around the island. Sandals was ok…thank goodness Little Dix Bay stay was after Sandals otherwise, we would have been really disappointed with Sandals coming from Little Dix Bay.

The food was expensive at Little Dix Bay, but with your package, with the breakfast included, it was great. The food was exceptional like you mentioned! I love how you traveled the Caribbean on your own sailboat with your husband---you really do know the islands and the differences between them!!

I’ll keep you in mind for future trips…. Europe...Tahiti...and will be calling you again soon!   We truly valued your recommendations with the BVI, as it was our favorite part of the vacation.   Thanks for helping extend our stay a couple of nights, we really did not want to come home!

We had a great stay at Kaanapali Shores and a great time in Maui. It is absolutely beautiful there and we also took one of the interisland flights to Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor. We booked this through the concierge at Kaanapali Shores and Nui Air. Nui Air pilot was very informative and actually showed us other parts of the islands both flying over and returning from Oahu. Our tour guide was also great. Thank you so much for doing a great job booking our trip.

I look forward to working with you again. My next trip will be a cruise for my niece and nephew.

Patricia-- Hi we just got back to TX last night. Travis got his passport in time we paid $500 for fast service but we got to go. The El Dorado was beautiful. Everything was fine, I called to confirm flight and those had changed in six months which we expected, once we got to the hotel they didn't have us in their system but after two days they did so we were glad we had the itinerary you sent us with the confirmation number.
Thanks! Best Day travel, the people who picked us up ,were nice and great to work with.

The food was good, nothing award winning but it was gourmet and wonderful presentations on all their dishes. Travis was expecting alot of seafood and we could get it but that was extra. We will go with the all inclusive again knowing more now how it works. You could only drink house wines and get drinks from any of the bars but you couldnt order alcohol or anythng not on the room service menu to your room. Our champane was delivered a day late for our anniversary but that was a room service mistake and not our concierge. Overall it was a great time. We did snorkling and deep sea fishing and snorkling in an underground natural cave. We had a great time too just sitting on the beach for a few days.

Hi Patricia....Our vacation was okay. The weather could have been better (very cloudy) but we did get 2 or 3 days of sunshine.   The Marriott is beautiful but the beach was a BIG disappointment.   It seems it was public and people who weren't guests at the Marriott were allowed along with their dogs. There was dog poop all over the place...it wasn't too appealing.

On the whole I think if I were to visit the Hawaiian island again it would not be Kauai.   There's no night life at all and there really isn't much to do there once you've taken in all the sites.

I didn't get to zipline.....the weather was not to agreeable and I didn't
see the sense of doing it in the rain.

Hope you enjoy your visit more............

It was great!! Our room was wonderful, however about our 3rd night we had a water leak in our room, so we moved up to a catergory 8 room with a balcony. It was sooooooooo wonderful, especially since both girls ended up sick. Meagan missed the day at St. Thomas and McKaylee, missed the day at Castaway Cay. I made her go out and see the island and she floated around the ocean. We went back to the room and I sat out on the balcony and watched everyone. It was good though. The girls are ready to go back. We are trying to get George's parents and his sister and her family to go with us.
I will definitely book with you again!! Everything went so smoothly and when we had the accident with the room Disney was so good to us.

- Allo Pizza on Moorea was the best pizza I've ever had. Ever. I'd
definitely recommend that to people. And we could both eat our fill for
like $35, which was a nice break from the food prices, as well. Oh, and they deliver to the hotels too! We did that too - it was so fun! ha ha - feeding the rays/sharks on Tahaa was AMAZING. wow wow wow wow.

- oh! My favorite massage ever was at Tahaa too - they had this thing
where water rains on you from these 3 huge showerheads throughout your massage. WOW.

- Villa Mahana was AMAZING toO!!!!! Jen said it was her favorite meal EVER, and it was my 2nd favorite ever. (I had a dinner at the 4 seasons on Maui that blew my mind, and remains my number 1). We had a great time there, but it was a pain in the ass to get home. I think Regis screwed up the boats or something, but we waited from 10-11pm to be picked up at this dock, which was kind of a bummer, and I started to get scared that no one was coming, and we were in the middle of nowhere.... heh heh   Anyway - it worked out just fine. I think there was some confusion among the boat drivers because they were arguing later. I could tell that one of them had goofed. No biggie. The meal was so amazing that it didn't matter!!!!

Oh, and I have NO IDEA how someone could spend $600 in there. Honestly, it'd be almost impossible. You'd have to drink at least 3 glasses of expensive champagne each or something. We had wine and amazing dinners and it was under $300. They did offer us champagne when we got there, but it was clearly not an offer of a "gift," it was just asking if we'd like to order some. No idea what that other couple was thinking...- another thing definitely worth recommending to people would be to eat at Lagoon at St. Regis. It's their nicer place. We ate there a couple nights before Mahana, and honestly, it was *really* close to being as cool, and the view, if you sit by the water, is unbelievable. All you see is the lagoon and mountain. It's awesome, the service was as good or better than Mahana, and the food was amazing. It's also a bit cheaper - I think dinner (and 4 cocktails) was around $220. And Jen wants me to tell you to tell people that their Watermelon Martinis are
to die for. :)

- the sunset catamaran tour with Richard was awesome, just don't leave your camera loose in your pocket if you decide to lay down on the net to look at the stars coming out. derrrrr   :)

The entire trip was wonderful! I cried when we had to leave.

The wedding was perfect - Rick is wonderful! We instantly loved him we even went to his church service on Sunday. He is such a great person.

The ziplining was awesome. It was really scary the first few zips, but once we felt more comfortable it was so much fun. Something you have to do - not a whole lot of people can say they get into the jungle and zip across the rainforest. We would do it again!

The Grand Hyatt was needless to say GRAND!!!! We loved it - would have liked a few more days there, but it gives us something to work for in the future!!!"

We can't thank you enough for all the hard work you did to help make this trip special and memorable.

I will send you some pics of wedding once I get them. We couldn't decide on pics while we were there so the photographer gave us a disc of pics to review (They are password protected or I would email you some of the proofs now).

Lisa and I enjoyed our trip a lot. It was great to relax and unwind after a very hectic wedding!

The Hyatt in Kauai was beautiful. The hotel was amazing and the service was great.

The Royal Lahaina was quite different from the Hyatt, but at the considerably lower cost, I expected as much. The rooms were nice and brand new. A nice touch was their check-in service, in which a representative from the hotel walked us directly into our room for an in room check-in. No lines and no confusing directions to your room are always nice. On the flip side, our rep wasn't very knowledgeable about the hotel and didn't seem to be able to answer our questions regarding restaurant recommendations, etc. This also seemed to be a common theme with much of their staff. The beach at the Royal Lahaina was great. Easy to relax on and very swimable.

All together, we had a great time. Thanks for all your help. We'll certainly contact you if/when we plan our next trip.

Mom and I had a wonderful time in Ireland!! Thanks for checking in. My head has been spinning since I got back trying to settle into my new home (I feel like the unpacking will never end) and right back to the work grind. The Hayfield Manor was beautiful and the service impeccable. Unfortunately one night we had no heat though and woke up at 2 am freezing and had to have the night manager bring in a space heater. Oh well, but breakfast the next morning was yummy!! And we loved the pool, jacuzzi and spa! We drove the Ring of Kerry but didn't kiss the Blarney Stone. We actually forgot all about it -- oops! Our time along the ocean in Dingle Bay was wonderful too and we got some amazing photos. Hertz ended up not having an automatic car and I had to use a manual shift while driving on the left
side of the road with the steering wheel on the right side of the car. I
told the Hertz man he didn't know what he was inflicting on his fellow
countrymen! Getting out of Cork was interesting as a result of the manual car, but we laughed about it! But the Irish are crazy drivers anyway! My left elbow got sore from all the shifting but I learned fast and became quite the whiz at it, and started to eventually love it.

But I think our favorite was the Currarevagh House in Oughterard, County Galway. An amazing old manor house from 1840 that could use a little interior decor update, but the family that ran it was fabulous and the home-made breakfasts and dinners they made every night were just amazing -- things like duck a l'orange, fois gras, fresh fish from Lake Corrib and beautiful vegatables that were not to be had anywhere else in Ireland!!
I'm not sure the Irish really understand what fresh vegatables are. But the best were the desserts: baked alaska, chocolate mouse cake, lemon mouse cake w/ fresh blueberries.... I could go on and on!!!

We also did a little ancestry hunt and had fun doing so, but in the end hit a dead end. The Irish have great geneological societies established in each county and they plan to have them all on-line within the next year. So hopefully we can find out more concrete info here at home and then check again with the parish records in Ireland thru the geneological societies on-line. Thank you so much for all your help and hard work in pulling this together for us. It was a vacation we both needed and we really enjoyed living it
up!!! It was a very special mum and daughter trip -- a trip of a

Jesse and I got back from Tahiti several days ago and we wanted to thank you for booking such a wonderful honeymoon for us!!! We had the best time; it was beautiful and everything we wanted. Thank you for recommending The Sofitel - it is a wonderful place to stay! We only wish that we had done the over-water bungalow one more night since those rooms are so much nicer but 2 nights was great. It was an excellent idea to split up our nights between a garden bungalow and the over-water. We would never have thought to do that but it worked out really well. We did all of the excursions while in the garden bungalow and then completely relaxed the last 2 days in our over-water bungalow. It also gave us something to look forward to at the end of the trip. In addition, we were very glad that you didn't buy us meal plans because there are several places to eat within walking distance of the Sofitel. There is one restaurant that is a 5-minute walk from the hotel called La Bounty where we ate about half our meals! They had an excellent lunch and dinner menu. We ate at Bloody Mary's one night too which was fun but we actually preferred La Bounty and all the other cute restaurants we ate at. Our trip would not have been the same experience if we had eaten all of our meals at the Sofitel. It was nice to eat outside the hotel, to get more of a feel for the place, and to have the opportunity to interact with people who live in Bora Bora. We did the shark and ray feeding excursion as you suggestd and we also did the sunset catamaran cruise - both of which were truly amazing experiences. Thank you so much for booking this absolutely perfect trip for us! It was the best honeymoon we could have imagined and we are already talking about going back sometime...maybe for our 5th or 10th anniversary. And, of course, if we do go back sometime, we'll definitely book the trip through you. =)

I have to say that the Vatican tour was fantastic. The wine & food
experience in Chianti was soo much fun too. The car rental was Mr.
toad's wild ride so we drove to Pisa too and I have many many pictures.

The tour in Venice we changed up and had him take us on a walking/boat taxi tour around Veniza and completely enjoyed our guide. He was from Chile and was a bit hard to understand, but a very nice man and showed us the 'inside' of Venice.

that the trip home was tough.
JFK airport is an absolute zoo and if we can avoid it next time that
would be great. (1 hr on the runway waiting to take off....) 50 planes
at least in front of us.... After a 1+ hr delay for a mechanical
issue...) we got to Seattle at 2am..... And on a plane for Spokane at 10 the next morning. We figure we got 4 or so hrs. in 36.... But we are back on track, sharing pictures and have some great memories.

We bought wine at the Castillo de Verazzanno and can't wait. Chianti
Reserva! Sooooo good!

It truly was a trip of a lifetime.

We had a great time in Italy. You did a wonderful job with the

We took you advice and took a train to Naples, then a ferry to Capri.
What a beautiful place. We went to the information booth and they called
a couple of hotels and got us into a nice three star hotel (which seemed
more like a four star) for 160 euros. It overlooked the Mediterranean
with a gorgeous view.

The next morning we tried to get on a boat tour around the island, but
just missed the boat. Luckily, another boat company gave Cindy and me a
private two-hour boat ride around the island. That was the best 100
euros we spent. He took us into all of the grottos with the beautiful
bright blue sea.

We have such great memories.

Sharon we are having a wonderful time! Tonite we are in Firenze.
Let me start with Como - simply THE most romantic place we've been (other than Bora Bora)... the Villa de Este' is beautiful & romantic & spacious rooms & great food & romantic & great sight seeing & did I say romantic? When you send your next clients there - highly suggest the private boat ride to Bellagio.... expensive... but very very worth it! I will just tell you that for dinner one nite we had champagne & strawberries on the veranda......
The train was delayed via train from Como to Milan- thus missed the connection from Milan to Venzia - however, we got the next train 30 minutes later but missed our pickup.. but caught a water taxi to Hotel Luna Baglioni ... also, the company that was to pick us up from Baglioni to the train did not have us so we had to water taxi from there ourselves...$115 euro for both ways... so you might check with them for a refund....
a n y w a y Venice was so much fun. We saw everything & walked till our feet hurt up to our ears! For the tour to Murano & Burano...... we changed our mind & convinced the guide to take us on a tour of Venice.. He was fantastic! He took us to his home area & to his normal cafe's & to a most beautiful church & gave us a very good 'walking-water tour' & dropped us off at a museeà across town where we walked & ate & drank & went into more churches on our way back to the hotel. Luna Baglioni was a cruise ship size room (small) so we barely unpacked, however the staff was excellent and the resturant-bar downstairs were great. The entertainment guitar-piano guy was superb and all the staff was extremely nice.
The train to Firenze was a nice ride & we picked up the car at the airport - thank the Good Lord for tomtom navigation that speaks English! The Wine & Food experience at Villa de Verazanno was soooooo much fun and very informative.... we arrived a bit late due to being lost & our nav system didnàt have it in there, but they were very gracious and we caught our group nearly at the beginning.... a very nice tour, very fun and informative - the lunch provided was superb and very Italian with lots of wine and most beautiful scenery!!
Today we drove to Firenze - may I say that my American husband drives very well with these c r a z y Italians!! the scooters are kamikazes and nobody signals or waits for anyone else on any road and merge nicely?? ha! Ralph was in his element.....
We saw the Duomo & San Lorenzo's & several others - however the Uffizi was booked till Friday..... so! thatàs where we are so far....VERY smooth wine Chianti Reserva..... will arrive home in 4 or 5 weeks......
Tomorrow we'll make that up as we get there....

I really enjoyed the Floating Market & Rose Garden Tour. The cultural show & dances at the Rose Garden were outstanding. Also, the Siloam Village Dinner and theater was nice.
I also took an optional tour to Ayuttyah (the ancient city & ruins) that was great and if I would have had an additional day at Bangkok, I would have gone on the Bridge over the river Kwai tour also. Some of these tours also have 2-3 days options, where you stay over and do and see more.

At Phuket, I enjoyed everything. The Phang Nga/James Bond Island cruise was nice, but I also went on a Sea Cave Cruise in the same general area that I highly recommend. Also, the Phi Phi Island cruise, I recommend upgrading to the speedboat which I did, as you get to see more, make more stops and do more swimming and snorkeling in the coral reefs. There is also an afternoon overland nature tour topped off with an evening dinner cruise in the bay that is really nice for couples.

Anyway, as you can guess, I had a really great time.

When we got to the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort in Bora Bora we were greeted by the manager who called us by name. She checked us in and gave us a tour around the resort. When we got to the room, she told us that they upgraded us to a suite with our own private pool. It was surrounded by palms and beautiful flora making it private and we were right on the beach. It was incredible!! They also arranged on our last night a cake and bottle of champagne brought to the room for us.

And the last night we were scheduled to be in an over water bungalow, they gave us the best end of the pontoon on the resort. I don't know what you told them but thank you very much. We were treated like VIPs.

We have been to many places around the world but this is the most beautiful we've seen. The water was incredible and the resort and staff exceeded our expectations. I am also impressed with you and your company with taking care of all the details. Every place we went we were greeted by your staff and helped with all the transfers. It eliminated all the confusion.

Thank you for all the help!! A 25 year anniversary is a special occasion and you helped make it perfect.

Koro Sun was a great resort for couples. Thanks so much for the champagne. We drank it whilst watching the sun set. The accommodation was lovely. We stayed in one of the newer bures that face the garden. The room was very attractive and comfortable. The new dining rooms were great, and the food was just fantastic! The staff were friendly and made our experience wonderful. We made friends with many of them, and were invited to their houses.What an honor!

The Castaway was a great family resort. We especially enjoyed our ride in the float plane out to the resort. It was the best way to see the other islands and atolls from the air, and we felt like rock stars when we landed on the beach! The Beach front bure accommodation was just perfect. The view from our room was stunning! The food was very good and your complimentary wine was greatly appreciated! We recommended you to couple from LA, who had a bad experience with their travel agent.

WOW did we have a terrific trip, we will definitely go back to the toumoto's. The resort on Manihi was beautiful, classy and very friendly we happened to be there with a Brazil film crew that was doing a documentary and one of them spoke English so that was fun. We did some line fishing on one of our excursions and I think I might be in there film because I got the first three fish. On Rangiroa we had a fabulous time. The resort wasn't quite as fancy as Manihi, but still clean and very well run. The restaurant was right on the water and the food was terrific and pretty reasonably priced. Lunch was about $15 but you got a large sandwich, fries and a salad. Dinner ran between $20 and $30 without drinks. The most expensive items were the drinks, glad we took our own wine! If you send anyone to this island or go yourself, you have to do the drift snorkel or dive if your a diver, it was worth every penny. It cost about $50 a person but we saw dolphins, rays, turtles and a lot of fish and sharks. We also did an all day picnic excursion on both islands and they were incredible. We are already saving for our next trip and I hope it is a lot sooner then 6 years. We are huge South Pacific fans and will differently be going back there. The biggest decision is where? Everything with Islands in the Sun was perfect. Thanks for your help and if you have any questions that I can answer for you just let me know.
