For over 60 years, our family-owned and operated Denali wilderness lodges have existed to share the beauty, adventure, and wonderment of this national park that we are privileged to call home.
Our two distinct, full-service Alaska wilderness lodges specialize in active, learning vacations for travelers wishing to do more than scratch the surface on their visit to Denali National Park. Explore Lodges
Naturalist-guided outings, fine dining, direct views of the Alaska Range, unique Denali lodging and extended stays all contribute to enhance your enjoyment, understanding and memories of this magnificent land: its wildlife, rhythms, sights and sensations.
Camp Denali and North Face Lodge are two distinct wilderness lodges, both in view of Denali and the Alaska Range, and each located near Wonder Lake and the end of the 95-mile Denali Park road. Both are situated on private, family-owned land, surrounded by close to six million acres of Denali National Park and Preserve.
Both lodges share a common dedication to excellence in natural history interpretation, stewardship, and hospitality. Individually, they offer different platforms from which to conduct your explorations into the park.
Camp Denali and North Face Lodge have specialized in learning adventures and hiking vacations for active travelers since 1952. From your initial drive into the park to the guided outings and evening programs, our goal is to share the park with you—its landscape and scenery, history, wildlife, wildflowers and birdlife. For many visitors traveling to Alaska, hiking is a priority activity. Camp Denali and North Face lodge offer both hiking opportunities and leisurely options for getting out with our naturalist guides, as well as independent activities.
During your stay, knowledgeable naturalist guides lead daily outings to explore Denali’s trail-less terrain and to view wildlife. This is the mainstay of our educational programming. Our longstanding history in the area has awarded us the opportunity to hike with you into the wilderness core of Denali National Park. Our designation as the park’s historic operator means we hold the exclusive rights to commercial guided hiking.
Each evening, staff naturalists and visiting specialists present evening programs to enhance your understanding and appreciation of the Far North.
