On Canada’s breathtaking west coast – just north of Vancouver – Whistler beckons with year-round outdoor exhilaration: top-rated skiing, championship golf and northern-rain-forest adventure for all ages. Enjoy regional cuisine, the alpine spa, and the peace of mind of devoted Four Seasons care.
Four Seasons Resort Whistler’s 273 guest rooms, suites and townhouses are generously sized and capture the spirit of a luxurious mountain residence, with cozy wood interiors and gas-burning fireplaces. All guest accommodations offer superb views of the mountains, forest, valley, pool or courtyard from private or step-out balconies. Well-defined work areas allow guests to remain productive, with up-to-the-minute technology for communication and entertainment, including dual-line telephones and high-speed Internet access. The extra-spacious bathrooms are warm and inviting, with Four Seasons signature features: deep soaking tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, large double vanity and, in a separate alcove, WC with telephone.
Named for the curvature on the side of a ski or snowboard, Sidecut declares its spectacular alpine location with glorious views of the local mountains and a brilliant, fire-lit setting. A sleek wood interior, colourful earth tones and an open fire provide a cozy setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Summertime allows wonderful outdoor dining on the spacious heated patio, and on long summer evenings, an outdoor fireplace provides an inviting ambience. Winter creates a romantic setting, with s’mores by the fire pit after a cozy dinner.
Specialties: An updated version of the classic steakhouse, Sidecut serves Canadian prime steaks – aged 40 days and cooked to perfection on a 1,800-degree infrared grill, fresh local seafood and regional specialties, such as BC Fallow Venison Loin and Bone-in Braised Bison Short Ribs. Entrées are served with a choice of six rubs and presented with a plate of six signature sauces for even more flavourful variety. The restaurant’s extensive wine list features more than 200 bottles and 30 wines by the glass, highlighting a wide variety of labels, from international classics to boutique British Columbia wines.
Sidecut is also open for breakfast and lunch daily, providing guests with their choice of a healthy morning buffet and several à la carte breakfast and lunch favourites..
The Resort also features a well-equipped cardio and weight training centre, a free-form outdoor pool and whirlpools, the Spa at Four Seasons Resort Whistler including hydrotherapy rooms and private spa suite for two.
During the winter, the Resort features a dedicated Ski Concierge to simplify your planning and assist you with everything from arranging lift tickets to booking private lessons. In warmer weather, guests enjoy fishing, golfing, rock climbing and wilderness canoe tours.
