Newport Beach is one of the finest resort beach cities in Southern California and is located midway between Los Angeles and San Diego.  Island Hotel is ideally located as the closest Virtuoso property to Disneyland in Anaheim (approx 20 minutes away) as well as an alternative for pre/post cruise guests for the San Pedro & Long Beach ports for pre/post cruise.

Rooms: The Island Hotel features 295 guest rooms — including 64 Executive Suites and 19 spacious Luxury Suites. All are decorated in sunny shades of yellow, peach and melon to reflect The Island Hotel lifestyle. All rooms offer a step-out balcony or furnished patio – many with commanding views of the Pacific Ocean and Newport Harbor.  

The suites provide a secluded bedroom, separate living room and furnished balcony overlooking the pool or gardens. Island Corner Suites feature views of Newport Back Bay or city lights, while Bay View Suites offer panoramic Newport Beach coastline or bay views from the upper floors.  

Pacific Suites feature one or two bedrooms, two furnished balconies, a guest bathroom and a spacious living and dining area. Our Lido Flats add expanded entertaining facilities and a third balcony with spectacular views the Newport Beach coastline or bay. A connecting second bedroom can be added upon making a reservation. The Newport Flats offer the convenience of a private study and panoramic views of the Newport Beach coastline, bay and city lights from the corners of the upper floors. The Island Hotel also features four custom-designed one-of-a-kind suites including the Presidential.
