Rancho Naturalists
The 50-hectare Rancho Naturalists Tuis is a true paradise for nature lovers. It is located 20 kilometers south of Turrialba, near the village of Tuis, 900 meters above sea level.
The rancho is surrounded by rain forest and humid jungle, and features a small inn called the Albergue de Montana. Its North American owners are dedicated hobby ornithologists who organize birdwatching tours and excursions into the region. More than 300 different species of birds have been observed on the grounds of the ranch.
