Octago Museum
The Otago Museum can be reached from the Octagon along Great King Street. Especially worth seeing here are the excellent southern Maori and Pacific Island exhibits and the natural history displays. Of
note among the other exhibits is a surprisingly good collection of art and sculpture from classical Greece, Rome and the Middle East. A recent addition to the museum is ‘Discovery World’, where working exhibits introduce children and adults alike to the world of science.
