Insolito Boutique Hotel & Spa
Located on the edge of one of the most beautiful beaches in Búzios, Ferradura beach, Insólito Boutique Hotel has sustainable integration with nature and a sophisticated beach proposal, with thematic rooms that immerses one in Brazilian culture, decorated with design objects and landscaping and illumination by Anouk Barcat and Maneco Quinderé.
The spaces have been decorated by the owner, French business woman Emanuelle Meeus de Clermont-Tonnerre, as a token of her passion for Brazil. The rooms contain works of art and books about music, photography, literature, art, nature, history, architecture, fashion and black culture, displaying her cultural concern in the decor.
Insólito has a Wellness Center with responsible professionals whose services include: body and facial treatments, Insólito (extraordinary) moments, massages and Indian rituals to guarantee relaxation by the sea. The integration between the Wellness Center areas and nature guarantees that extra sense of pleasure for the guests.
Insólito has two boats available for use by guests. The Rush boat – 30 feet, capacity 8 people – is ideal for tours around the principle beaches in Búzios, where guests can also take part in fishing or picnics. The other boat, Dragos – 19 feet, capacity 4 people – is used more for water-skiing, wakeboarding and “bóia-cross” which is a variation of water-skiing.
In the social area, Insólito has a sweet water pool, a salt water pool, a dry sauna, a steam sauna, Jacuzzi and Ofurô.
There are also three bicycles which are available for use by the guests.
Emanuelle Meeus de Clermont-Tonnerre has been an “art curator of decoration” at Insólito, which is shown in the exposition of design objects – in its majority, Brazilian – in the rooms and in the common areas of the hotel, like the living room with a Pigmento Ovo table and the wonderful rustic wooden sofas by Elma Chavez.
One of the peculiarities is the recycled rubber carpets by Cecília Machado, made in cooperation with the inmates of Muzambinho and Nova Resende.
Other objects that stand-out are the photos by Claudia Andujar, stickers by André Diniz and the young Brazilian designer Juliana Llussa.
Take a unique culinary trip, an opportunity to explore the flavors of the Franco-Brazilian fusion developed by our chef. You can savor fish, seafood and meat in an enchanting and refined setting with a stunning view of Ferradura Beach.
A meeting point between art and nature, the restaurant seems almost like a garden suspended over the sea…
You are invited to enjoy not only tempting delicacies, but also a unique moment in which the flavor of the food is appreciated using all your senses.
