The Adirondack Mountains are many, varied and massive with 46 peaks rising above 4,000 feet. The tallest are here in the Lake Placid/High Peaks Region and include Whiteface, Algonquin & Marcy. At 5,344 feet, Marcys summit is the highest point in New York State.
