Caceres is an important tourism city in Spain with a well deserved UNESCO Heritage City status. This city’s old town goes back to late 24 BC as an important Roman city. One of the things that make this such an important and enjoyable historical site is the fact that it was not only Roman, but also has Moorish, Northern Gothic and Italian architecture with thirty two towers that still are there from the Islamic times.
The old town is known for all the stork nests as well as its ancient buildings. There are too many attractions to list here, enough to keep the most avid tourist busy for days on end.
