Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Xigera
Land at Xigera in the heart of the Okavango delta, and meet your senior guide and BaYei polers. Climb into a mokoro (dug out canoe), and set off into the wilderness, encountering varied wildlife en route. End the day in mobile tents, which are designed with netting at the top to retain the feeling of sleeping out under the stars while staying safe and secure in comfortable bedrolls. Mobile Tents (L,D)
Day 2: Xigera
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning walk. Birding is excellent, and you are likely to spot owls, cranes, skimmers, kingfishers and a variety of raptors. Return to your mokoro, and resume your journey. Mobile Tents (B,L,D)
Day 3: Xigera / Depart
On the last morning, wind your way back to the airstrip in the early afternoon for your flight to your next destination. (B)
