DAY 2-4:

A private charter takes you to Sarara Camp in the Mathews Mountains, famous for leopard sightings. Discover an unspoiled paradise of ancient forests that descend to rugged desert bushland, teeming with wildlife; you have exclusive access to half a million acres. The Namunyak conservation area is unspoiled, with few roads; a Namunyak community game scout leads you on walking tours through the area. Look for lion, elephant and endangered African wild dog. Interact with the local pastoral Samburu people, learn some of their legendary tracking skills and experience the "singing wells" of the Sarara sand river.

DAY 5-6:

Fly by private charter to Laragai Private House in the Borana Conservancy across the Laikipia, a region of game-rich grasslands and hills. Explore the region on foot, in customized safari vehicles or on horseback. Here you will find a thriving predator population, large herds of elephant and a variety of plains species. Between game drives, Laragai House provides plenty of diversions, including an infinity swimming pool and a verandah with sweeping views of the surrounding plains.

DAY 7-9:

Cross the scenic Rift Valley by plane and descend to the Masai Mara, one of Africa's greatest game reserves. Stay "under canvas" in your exclusive tented camp in a private area of the Mara, carefully selected by your guides for its proximity to the local wildlife. With a personal tent steward on hand to assure your comfort, this is the ultimate form of safari. Explore this gamerich area in custom-made safari vehicles where a window seat is always guaranteed. Your driver-guides know all the animals' habits and make the most of your morning and afternoon game drives. On returning to camp, sit outside your tent and watch elephant wandering among herds of wildebeest and giraffe reaching up into the trees for a snack. Surprisingly comfortable, mobile camping is also ecologically ideal as there are no permanent fixtures, leaving the environment as pristine as when you arrived.

DAY 10:

Fly to Nairobi for your international departure or continuing flight for an Indian Ocean extension program.
