Tour Itinerary
Day 1
After arriving at the Westcliff Hotel, explore Johannesburg at your own pace this afternoon.
Day 2
Fly to Victoria Falls, check in to the Victoria Falls Hotel and join your guide for a walk alongside the thundering, crashing waters, one of the great natural wonders of the world.
Day 3
See the falls from hundreds of feet up on an unforgettable flight. Choose the Flight of the Angels, a scenic helicopter flight, or a Micro Light Flight with a wing-mounted camera, freeing you to enjoy the view without worrying about taking photos. The pilots know the area and make sure to show you the best angles for photographs and stunning views. This evening, cruise the Zambezi River at sunset.
Day 4
Raft or canoe the Zambezi, depending on the season. You may choose a full day of rafting or canoeing or a half-day wire trip that combines three thrilling adventures: a Flying Fox jump that propels you across the Zambezi Gorge in one running leap; a gorge swing with a 200-foot free fall; or a zip line that suspends you nearly 400 feet above the breathtaking river below.
Day 5
Fly to Cape Town via Johannesburg and transfer to your waterfront hotel, the Cape Grace.
Day 6
Sail around Cape Town Harbor on a 30-foot yacht and then explore the city and its landmark, flat-topped Table Mountain.
Day 7
Take a leisurely mountain bike ride through the Cape Point Nature Reserve to observe the unique plant and animal life of the area. Alternatively, explore the winelands in 4x4 vehicles, touring an estate along "off limits" tracks between the vines.
Day 8
Fly to Knysna and transfer to Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa. Later, touch, feed and walk trunk-in-hand with elephant at the Crags Elephant Sanctuary, a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet these magnificent animals up close.
Day 9
Explore the Tsitsikamma rainforest on a canopy tour 100 feet above the treetops, where the scenery and birdlife is spectacular. This afternoon is at leisure.
Day 10
Set out on a half-day marine encounter to observe the fascinating fish and mammals that live in the Indian Ocean off Knysna's coast.
