Route CT 7147 runs south from Tafraoute to a picturesque village by the name of Agard Oudad. With its pastelcolored, trim little houses, it stands at the foot of a mighty granite rock commonly called Napoleon's Hat. If you follow a small trail, which branches off here in a southwesterly direction, you will reach a magnificent landscape of granite blocks painted in garishly bright colors: the work of the Belgian landscape artist Jean Virame. As in all works of art, one can argue about taste; but in any case, the violet, red and blue of the boulders - set off by the occasional green of the argan trees sets a contrast definitely presents an unusual photographic motif.
