Day 1: Depart USA
Begin your African adventure as you board your international flight to southern Africa.
Day 2: En Route
Day 3: Arrive Johannesburg, South Africa
Arrive in Johannesburg, where our representative welcomes and escorts you to your boutique hotel. Fairlawns Hotel
Day 4: Johannesburg / Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Botswana
This morning, set out on a short flight to Maun, capital of Botswana. You meet a representative who drives you to your camp on high cliffs overlooking the dry bed of Boteti River. The camp’s name, which means tooth of the crocodile, refers to a deep stretch of the Boteti River once inhabited by hippos and crocodiles. Meno a Kwena Tented Camp (B,L,D)
Days 5 & 6: Makgadikgadi Pans National Park
Depending on the seasonal movement of wildlife, your guide takes you to one of the Kalahari wilderness areas within Makgadikgadi. During dry season, you encounter exceptional wildlife viewing right from your camp as most of the wildlife come here to the water hole. Meno a Kwena Tented Camp (B,L,D)
Day 8 & 9: Okavango Delta
Enjoy game drives in open vehicles, by mokoro (water levels permitting) and by boat as well as walking safaris. An exceptional optional activity is the chance for very personal interaction with elephants (pre-paid supplement). This unique, educational program

Day 10: Okavango Delta / Moremi Wildlife Reserve
You transfer by light charter flight to your lodge on the western border of Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Choose daily between meandering floodplains and channels by mokoro or tracking big game on foot or by open 4 x 4-safari vehicle. Nxabega Safari Lodge (B,L,D)
Day 11: Moremi Wildlife Reserve
This is a day of discovery as you continue to travel the delta and its maze of waterways, lagoons, vast grassy plains and palm-fringed, wooded islands. Along the way, you are likely to see crocodile, hippo, elephant, lion, hyena, giraffe, wild dog, rare antelope, and maybe, even the elusive leopard. This is also a bird watcher’s paradise with around 400 species known to be here. Nxabega Safari Lodge (B,L,D)
Day 12: Moremi Wildlife Reserve / Linyanti Reserve
Today, fly to your game lodge in Linyanti Reserve, near Chobe National Park, known for large numbers of elephant. The lodge sits on the banks of the eastern Selinda spillway among shaded riverine forest. In the heat of the day, cool off in the plunge pool or relax in the reading area with its commanding views of the landscape. Selinda Lodge (B,L,D)
Days 13 & 14: Linyanti Reserve
Spend two days in big game country, home to lion, cheetah, wild dog and hyena. The reed and papyrus swamps are ideal habitat for a variety of birds. Game-viewing activities include morning and afternoon/evening drives in 4 x 4 vehicles or on foot. Boat cruises on Zibalianja lagoon offer fine fishing, as well as exploration of the Linyanti Swamps ecosystem. Selinda Lodge (B,L,D)
Day 15: Linyanti Reserve / Johannesburg / Depart
After a final game-viewing activity, you transfer by light charter flight to Maun, and connect to Johannesburg, where you board your flight home. (B)
