Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Arrive Cairo. You will be met by Our's representative and transferred to your chosen hotel. See hotel selection below (2 nights)
Day 2. Cairo. Visit to the Pyramids - and the Sphinx, the great god-lion sentinel. After lunch, travel to Memphis, to see the magnificent Alabaster Sphinx and the mammoth statue of Ramses II. Proceed to the Necropolis of Sakkara, to see the famous Step Pyramid and the Wall of Cobras. BL
Day 3. Cairo to Luxor. You fly to Luxor and board your floating hotel for the next 7 days. Visit one of Egypt?s most spectacular sights: Luxor and Karnak Temples. See Nile Cruise Ship selection below (6 nights) BLD
Day 4. Luxor. Cross to Luxor?s West Bank to explore the astonishing New Kingdom city of ?Thebes?. Visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, the stupendous Deir El Bahari mortuary, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built against the backdrop of a looming cliff face and the Colossi of Memnon, two huge seated statues of Amenhotep III. Day 5. Sail to Edfu. A relaxing day sailing to Edfu passing through the Esna lock. BLD
Day 6. Sail Edfu to Aswan. This morning an exhilarating carriage ride takes you through Edfu to the Falcon God Horus, Egypt?s best-preserved temple. Later we continue sailing to Aswan passing by Kom Ombo Temple. BLD
Day 7. Aswan. We begin with the Temple of Isis, then visit the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam. After lunch, we board local feluccas, replicas of ancient Nile Sailboats, for a leisurely cruise around Aswan?s Islands. BLD
Day 8. Sail to Kom Ombo/Edfu. Standing serenely on a hilltop, we visit the Greco-Roman style Temple of Sobek, the crocodile God. Continue sailing to Edfu where we overnight. BLD
Day 9. Sail to Luxor. Arrive Luxor in the afternoon. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own. BLD
Day 10. Luxor/Cairo. Transfer to the airport for our flight back to Cairo. (5 nights) B
Day 11. Cairo. Today, experience the fabulous Egyptian Museum, regarded as one of the most prominent in the world. The priceless antiquities include King Tutankhmen?s Treasures. B
Day 12. Cairo. Visit the Citadel of El Din , including the great Mohammed Ali Mosque, visible throughout all of Cairo. Visit to Old Cairo churches and Ben Ezra synagogue. B
Day 13. Al Fayyum Oases. Lush greenery stretches along the shores of Lake Qaroon. We also visit the Pyramid of Amenmhet III and Senusert II. BL
Day 14. Cairo. Day at leisure. (shopping?) B
Day 15. Depart Cairo. Transfer is provided to Cairo Airport for your onward flight.
