Day 1. Nairobi (Sun). Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Safari Park Hotel or similar.

Day 2. Samburu. Travel north to Samburu arriving in time for lunch. Check in at Larsen's Camp, a small luxurious tented camp with en-suite bathrooms, set in lush lawns on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. Game viewing platform in the trees lets you scan the vast Samburu plain. Colonial elegance, hot showers and bathrobes in your tent add a touch of class. Dinners are served by candlelight in the dining tent with views of the river. An afternoon game drive will introduce you to the animals, which are peculiar to this area - the reticulated giraffe, Gravy's zebra and the Somali Ostrich. Larsen's Camp (2nights) BLD

Day 3. Samburu National Reserve. Another exploration of this harshly beautiful Reserve where game abounds. , Lunch is followed by an afternoon at leisure to enjoy the amenities provided at your luxury tent. BLD

Day 4. Samburu - Naivasha. Travel to Lake Naivasha and transfer to Loldia house. Here is a true experience of the life of Kenya's early settlers, the pioneers who cleared the forests and first farmed the rich highlands. Originally established by a family who trekked by ox-wagon from South Africa a century ago, their descendants still own the land. Mouth-watering meals, with fish and shrimp from the lake, are served under the trees or in the old dining room. An ideal spot to relax or explore the Great Rift Valley. Available excursions at no extra cost: a trip to Lake Nakuru National Park, Hells Gate National Park, boat ride to crescent island, visit to local flower farms, bird-watching by boat, walks with the resident naturalist, and horse riding. Day 5. Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip. A light aircraft across a great rift valley whisks you to the Masai Mara Game Reserve where your transfer to Governors Camp. Nestled in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara River, Governors Camp sets new standards in luxury and dining. All tents have en-suit bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flushing toilets. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game viewing drive exploring the spectacular savannah teeming with wildlife. Day 6. Masai Mara. A full day of game viewing and exploration of this, Kenya's finest Reserve. More than 60 species of wildlife are found here as well as a multitude of birds. Large prides of lion and annual wildbeest migration add to the excitement! BLD

Day 7. Masai Mara to Nairobi. Today, a drive back to Nairobi arriving in early afternoon. Transfer is provided to the airport for your flight or you may wish to extend your stay. B
