Day 2. Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where you may see animals in the same abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. This afternoon embark on a game drive that will last until sunset. Mara Sopa Lodge (2 nights) BLD

Day 3. Masai Mara Game Reserve Early morning optional balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast. A full day spent in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. BLD

Day 4. Masai Mara to Kigio Wildlife Conservancy After breakfast you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as the home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo. The park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, rhino and leopard. This afternoon you will embark on a game drive then back to your lodge for dinner and your overnight. Day 5. Kigio to Amboseli National Park After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park lying below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. This afternoon enjoy a game drive that will last until sunset. Amboseli Sopa Lodge (2 nights) BLD

Day 6. Amboseli National Park A full day of game viewing in the park. BLD

Day 7. Amboseli to Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast, drive to the border town of Namanga where you will clear customs and immigration formalities. Proceed in the Tanzania vehicle to Arusha for lunch. This afternoon you will visit the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world with abundant wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. The remainder of your day is at leisure. Day 8. Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast, depart for a half-day tour of the crater floor. Return to your lodge for lunch and the remainder of your day is at leisure. BLD

Day 9. Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park After breakfast you will drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. En-route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of prehistoric man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Arrive for lunch at your lodge, this afternoon head out on a game drive. Serengeti Sopa Lodge (2 nights) BLD

Day 10. Serengeti National Park Today you will spend the full day in the park on morning and afternoon game drives. BLD

Day 11. Serengeti to Tarangire National Park After breakfast at your lodge you will drive to the Tarangire National Park, named after the Haranguer River which rises in Tanzania's central highland. The river lures thousands of plains game to its banks. Lunch will be taken en-route at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge and your afternoon game drive will also take place en-route to your lodge. Day 12. Tarangire to Nairobi Early morning game drive, breakfast at your lodge then drive to Arusha for lunch. Afternoon transfer to Nairobi via the border town of Namanga where you will clear customs and immigration formalities. Proceed in the Kenyan vehicle to Nairobi, Kenya's colourful capital city. You will be dropped at your hotel to refresh and change before being transferred to the famous Carnivore Restaurant for farewell dinner. Hotel Intercontinental Nairobi BLD

Day 13. Departure. Your morning is at leisure in Nairobi. Later transfer from your hotel to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your departure flight back home. Your Vintage Africa representative will reconfirm your onward flight and assist you at check-in. B
