Day 2 Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Kenya's capital is cosmopolitan, lively, interesting and pleasantly landscaped. Founded by the British little more than a 100 years ago, Nairobi now has a population of more than 2 million people. It’s a modern commercial center with some interesting high-rises and lots of bustle. Visitors can find things not so common in other parts of Africa, such as nice theatres showing the latest films and expensive restaurants serving every type of food.

Day 3 Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
Following an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel by road to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is set in a picturesque landscape of surrounding woodland and grassland next to Nakuru town. The landscape includes areas of marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrops, stretches of acacia woodland and rocky hillsides covered with a Euphorbia forest on the eastern perimeter.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Depart on a drive along the floor of the Rift Valley taking you past Suswa and Mt. Longonot. Cross the Loita plains where proud and picturesque Maasai can be seen going about their normal chores in the vicinity of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. Arrive at the Masai Mara Game Reserve in time for lunch.

Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds, too, are prolific.

Maasai communities live within the dispersal area with their stock but a century of close association with the wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and people live in peace with one another. The first sight of this natural wonderland is breathtaking. Here the great herds of shuffling elephants browse among the rich tree-studded grasslands with an occasional sighting of a solitary and ill-tempered rhino.

Day 5 Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy a full day in the Mara with two game drives included. Wonderful scenery and an abundance of big game abound in this reserve.

Day 6 Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park (via Nairobi)
After breakfast, travel to Amboseli National Reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route, or lunch in
Nairobi. Continue to Amboseli and check into the lodge. The afternoon is at leisure.

Amboseli, immediately northwest of Mount Kilimanjaro and 150 miles southeast of Nairobi on the Tanzanian border, is certainly one of the most picturesque places in the whole of Africa to watch game. Where else could you watch a great herd of elephants trudging slowly across a wide empty plain dominated by Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro?

Day 7 Amboseli National Park
Enjoy a full day in Amboseli National Park, which lies below the most famous symbol of Africa –
Mount Kilimanjaro – 19,340 feet – the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest free standing mountain in the world.

Day 8 Amboseli to Serengeti (via Arusha)
Early morning drive to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Namanga, change vehicles in Tanzania, drive to Arusha for lunch before flying from Arusha to Seronera.

Day 9 Serengeti National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. It is from here that the famous army of grazers begins its legendary trek in search of new grazing lands.

Day 10 Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch and drive via Olduvai Gorge, with game viewing en route, to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch for Lake Manyara with game viewing en route. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Lake Manyara.

Day 12 Lake Manyara National Park to USA (via Dubai)
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, drive to Arusha. Enjoy lunch before transferring to Kilimanjaro Airport for the flight to Nairobi and departure flights back to the USA.
