Days 1-2: USA or Canada/Nairobi, Kenya

Day 3: Nairobi/Samburu
Fly to the Samburu Game Reserve, arriving in time for a leisurely lunch at your camp. Set on lush lawns by the bank of the Uaso Nyiro River, Larsen's Camp welcomes you in casual, colonial style. Day 4: Samburu
Early morning game drives are the perfect time to witness the abundant wildlife awakening for their breakfast. In addition to elephant, buffalo and rhino, you have an opportunity to spot some species unique to Kenya's Northern Frontier District, including the "Special Five:" reticulated giraffe, thin-striped Grevy's zebra, majestic beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and the graceful "giraffe-necked" gerenuk antelope, which stands on its hind legs to feed. Day 5: Samburu/Chyulu Hills

Board a private charter flight to the Chyulu Hills (the Green Hills of Africa of Ernest Hemingway). Transfer to Campi Ya Kanzi, on the panoramic ridge with spectacular views of the giant snow-dome of Mount Kilimanjaro. Day 6: Chyulu Hills
