Tour Itinerary
Day 1 & 2: Samburu National Park Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred by road to Wilson Airport where you will board your scheduled flight to Lewa Airstrip. From the airstrip a short game-drive transfer, 10 minutes will bring you to camp. Spend two nights at Samburu Intrepids. Accommodation is in a tent with en-suite facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis including park fees and two scheduled game-drives per day. Hotel: Tented Camps Day 3 & 4: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Lewa Airstrip. From the airstrip a short road transfer, 15 minutes, will bring you to camp. Spend two nights at Lewa Safari Camp. Accommodation is in a tent with en-suite facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities. Activities include game-drives and bush walks. Hotel: Tented Camps Day 5, 6, 7: Masai Mara National Reserve After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip where you will board your scheduled flight to Kichwa Airstrip. From the airstrip a short game-drive transfer, 10 minutes, will bring you to camp. Spend three nights at Kichwa Tembo Tented Safari Camp. Accommodation is in a tent, with an en-suite shower and w.c. Your stay is on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities. Activities include game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. A ballooning safari and/or a day trip to Lake Victoria (Mfangano Island) can be arranged at an additional cost. Hotel: Tented Camps Day 8 - Nairobi Enjoy an early morning game-drive and breakfast before your transfer to the airstrip where you will board your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. Daily flights depart at 11:00 arriving at 12:15. Scheduled road transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meals: B Acoomodations Accomodation consists of 27 luxurious tents overlooking the scenic riverbanks with large four-poster beds and classic safari furniture. The tents have modern en-suite bathrooms with steaming showers and secluded verandahs with all-day, personalised bar service. The main area of the lodge features breezy, thatched dining areas overlooking the river as well as a lounge and bar with interesting nightly talks and slide shows. A freeform 'oasis' swimming pool, sunbathing garden and professional flex-body therapy sessions invite guests to unwind and relax into the comfort and beauty of the African way of life. Lewa Safari Camp Nestled in the heart of the privately owned Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is the beautiful Lewa Safari Camp. It is here, with the magnificent snow-capped Mt Kenya as its backdrop, that guests can enjoy an unforgettable combination of scenery, hospitality and a plethora of some of Kenya’s most prized wildlife. 12 comfortable, permanent tents boast lovely ensuite bathrooms and oh-so comfy double or twin beds Kichwa Tembo Tented Safari Camp Kichwa Tembo Tented Safari Camp comprises 40 spacious classic East African ensuite safari tents with private verandas affording views over the Sabaringo River or the magnificent grasslands. There is a generously-sized infinity swimming pool from which guests can watch game while cooling off. The Camp features 28 classic safari tents and 12 luxury tents. The 28 classic ensuite safari tents boast panoramic views of the Masai Mara plains. Perched on a cool cement plinth with coir matting, each tent is furnished with separate (twin) extra-size beds and comfortable down duvets. The ensuite stone-walled bathroom includes a shower and flush w.c. These tents are closely situated, making them perfect for families and small groups. The standard tents are 7 m x 3.5 m, and they do not have plug points or safe facilities (both are available at reception).
