Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Windhoek (or Swakopmund) to Namib Desert. You are collected at your hotel in the early afternoon (the transfer is with a driver only - no guide for this section of the tour) and transported via the Spreetshoogte or Kuiseb Pass and Solitaire to a lodge on the border of the Namib Desert. Arrive at your lodge and view the stunning scenery, the remainder of your day is at leisure to admire the miles of desolate and beautiful desert. D Namib Naukluft Lodge (2 nights)
Day 2. Namib Desert Early morning departure to Sossusvlei. Today you’ll have the opportunity to climb some of the highest sand dunes in the world. There is a stop for breakfast in the vlei. Continue onto Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for lunch. This afternoon you have the opportunity to join a guided nature/sunset drive to the Marble Mountains (drinks on own account), or relax with a sundowner on the veranda (drinks on own account) and enjoy the spectacular sunset this region is famous for. Day 3. Namib Desert to Windhoek or Swakopmund. Depart the lodge after breakfast and travel via the Remhoogte or Kuiseb Pass to Windhoek or Swakopmund. Arrive in Windhoek/Swakopmund in the early afternoon where your tour ends, you will be dropped off at your hotel. B
